I have been growing now for like 3 days in my basement and I have a regular fluoresent light it does not give off heat and it is kinda cold when do i have to get a heat lamp or do I. peace out...
First let me say welcome to the fam from all here at GrowKind.com :bandwidth-property:. Anyway let me say if you have the space and the money buy and HPS light. If you have a large space and your using flos, your gonna need alot. BTW what type of light are you using, how many, what wattage? From personal experience I know that you can grow with flos and bud with em and have a pretty good grow overall if you follow some rules. If you provide good soil, water and a CONSTANT flo of nutrients, with flos organic is better, you will have a good foundation. The next step is lighting, this is the rule I followed to get my plants where they are now, 3000 lumens per square foot. And 1 plant per sqaure foot. The best thing I could advise is to read the FAQ and if you have any questions as far as growing with flos just put the same principles to use as if you where using a HPS light. As far as your temps, anything below 74 degrees is not optimal and anything below 60 is just not good. If the temps fluctuate between 70 degrees and 84 thats perfect I would think. You should not need a heating lamp unless you spot is just that cold and secondly if you do decide to use a heating lamp keep it away from the plant enough so it doesnt burn.http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery.php?s=&action=folder&sortby=date&userid=688226 that is the link to my garden. Your floro will work for about a week. But you should get an HPS light very soon or 5 more floros. Because that plant is gonna need lots of heat and light. -xSTEALTHx
