So i was watching some Bill Maher and Bill O Reilly stuff earlier on youtube and one link led to another and i was on a tube watching John Stewart pointing out how blatantly Ron Paul gets blanket ignored by mainstream media, that made me sit up and take notice.Iv done some digging around and this guys the real deal so why the fuck aint the American people voting for him I hope hes got a shout in the next election cos i dig this guys Libertarian policies,so im thinking Lionloves420 will be voting for him, anyone elseThis guy speaks the truth,iv been checking him out past few days,i 1st heard of him back when Bush ran for his 2nd term but it seems hes coing to the forefront of the mainstream now,he calls it like it is and the media call HIM crazy for it??? He seems to be catching onto the Obama method of getting elected> www.paul.house.gov www.ronpaul.org www.ronpaul2012.com www.twitter.com/ronpaul www.facebook.com/ronpaul http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=&feature=endscreen If i lived in the USA,my vote would be going to this guy:icon_salut:>>>>>>>>>>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&feature=related
Nope, he is too socially conservative for me. I am voting for Gary Johnson as long as he gets the Libertarian nomination. Johnson is a good mix of fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Gary Johnson 2012! He even kinda looks like a stoner.
I'll need to check up on that guy Lion but i just think this is Ron Pauls time,if he cant get there this time he never will.Seems the media are scared of him,im still watching some good youtube stuff about the guy just now, theres tons of it.Hes even got Bill Mahers liberal vote:5eek:
What If... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&feature=related ...oh yeah, hes down with the weed:jj: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=&feature=BFa&list=PLD6624F48CA7DCF72&lf=results_video
He gets no coverage because he does not bend to the will of the "money people." Both sides are scared of him getting his message out, so they lock him out of the discussion. Hmm... Interesting... even I said "both sides" as if there are only two sides. Need to be aware of that and fight it. Gary Johnson? I thought he was running as a republican. Yeah, I'd vote for him too. I've recently come to the conclusion that we are doomed and that we are fucked no matter who is in power. There are just too many sheep who follow what they see on TV. Since Ron Paul only gets negative coverage if he gets any at all, they wont vote for him. So, I'll just vote for who I think should be in power and when s/he does not win, I'll go back to drinking my wine and smoking my weed. asssit:
Yeah that sounds like a right nice plan there AB... TV can be a good medium but the people who control it fuck it up.Fox tv are summit else, you actually have to kinda be in awe that they can even get away with the news journalism broadcasting they get away with, they really are a political machine and good at it. Alien iv seen ron paul about for years now since i heard him discussed on GK,i think you were one of the guys whpo had maybe mentioned him at the time, anyways iv never seen the support for him im seeing for him now... he will give anyone a good run for their money anyway:thumbsup: Enjoy that wine and weed, you ever renting out a holiday home for a few months out there you let me knowPeace:jj:
Hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell, unfortunately. Been successfully marginalized within the party because he's a true blue old school repub in the likes of a Teddy Roosevelt or Barry Goldwater and scares the shit out of the mainstream republicans because he speaks the truth. For those unfamiliar with Goldwater he was the last repub who stood a chance against the big government social zealot republicans who took over the party in the late 60's and early 70's. It's the dream of reigniting that base that keeps some of us Big L libertarians small r republicans fighting to regain control of the non-sheeple conservative base. http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Barry_Goldwater http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Goldwater
I'd vote for him if he had a chance. But he just doesn't. So I will vote for him in the primary but since he won't make it to the main election, I will most likely be voting for Obama as I can't stand...like seriously really REALLY hate the heartless souless fools known as Romney/Santorum, rather than me really liking Obama. Ron though, I wish he were younger for the next election.
I'm sorry, am I supposed to vote for Romney or Santorum? It's gonna be one of them vs. Obama. Are you saying I should vote for one of them? Let's be realistic. No one else has a chance, at all.
I dont like Obama anymore,he sold out but i agree Canna that i dont think hes gonna get toppled, hes here for a 2nd term but the scary thing is most people seem to be saying the same thing as you Canna:5eek: Scary because if all the people who are saying they are voting for Obama cos they dont think anyone else can win, well if all them people actually bothered voting for someone else then they WOULD see that their vote counts and makes a difference.Romney looks the part but too many people will hold his religion against him aswell as his 'previous'. Obama campaigned for change and he didnt change a fuckin thing, all he did was take America in the wrong direction.I think Presidents who dont follow through on campaign pledges by the next election should be barred from entering the race, you would soon start to see more meaningful and honest campaign pledges then
No no no...vote your conscience. If Obama is your guy go for him. If not don't. The problem with a default vote is that it then can be lumped into a political "mandate". In that Obama can say; "I carried 60% of the popular vote so I have a "mandate" from the American people to carry out all my agenda." Higher vote percentages are read by politicians as power of endorsement for their agenda and wielded as such. They are not viewed as a default vote because everybody else who had a shot sucks. If you like Paul vote Paul, if you like Johnson vote Johnson...but don't give a candidate you find distasteful any more power than they already have. If he's gonna win let's at least have it by the narrowest margin possible so the fucker's who carry his water in congress are looking over their shoulder wondering exactly how much support he really has.
I don't see how some one who thinks Ron Paul is their first choice would even consider Obama. They are almost polar opposites.
How much you want to bet that they're running mates after the convention? $10,000.00? LOL!:roffl: I continue to say that Ron Paul is the president that this country needs and deserves but will not get unless he's someones Vice-President and they get taken-out or impeached. Sad situation. Jefferson is spinning in his grave right now! I just know he is!
