Hey, I had some NL seeds that I planted, today one of the 3 sprouted. The sprout was completly bent over laying on the dirt. It didn't have any light since i didn't have it in my room cuz it just sprouted this morning. The shell was partially still stuck on, that why i think that the water leaves hadn't broken out. I tried to straiten it a little, no luck. I'm hoping that just putting it under the light will spring that lil baby right back up?
Whats up, 1! Yeah, get some decent(80w)floro's on it. It may not be too late. That really helped with some of my pepper plants. Later
make a small hole in soil and re-plant seed so just top part is sticking out .. water so as not to displace plant from soil
Yeah take Toolmans advice, replant, then water very lightly to stabilize the seedling in the soil again. Burry it up to it's head, this will give it more support/rooting area when it continues to grow. Rather than let it continue the way it is, weak and not strong enough to support itself, replanting should give it a fair chance, and hopefully some good bud for you down the road. If the shell is still stuck to the seedling, remove it gently along with the sheath, which might need coaxing to get off, be firm yet gentle to prevent damaging or killing the seedling, this may require practice. Hopefully you wont need to do this.
Be very careful in handling that baby..They can go into shock real easily..and if you break the roots.. Adios Amigo's.. CG.
