Trying my 1st scrog grow. Let me tell you what I've got planned and you guys tell me what I left out. I've 3 Cotton Candy clones in 2.5 gal buckets under a 18" by 24" inch screen. I made the screen out of a pvc rack I had. Put screws around the edges ran string from side to side. If it works the way I'm thinkin, at harvest I will just cut the screen out. I took me about 20 minutes to string it the first time. Just transplanted yesterday so they look a little ragged. They will spend a week or two under floros and 250w hps till my closet is clear. This is my 3rd run with the CC and the first thing I learned was, they stretch like a motherf@#%er at the change to 12/12. I've had no luck controling vertical growth, so I'm going to see if I can't flaten um out. They have been topped, before transplanting, bent and tied once. They will flower under 400w hps. Grown hempy with the Useless formula. I'm going to adjust the size of my closet so it is only slightly larger then the screen. With only 3sq ft of screen that will give me over 100 watts psf. That's the plan. Toughts? Peace.....
Awesome Screen setup man!!! Second time I seen so far. Seems like a pefect, steady setup. Im surprised the CC are stretching under the 250w light HPS, weird, I would expect from CFL, but not the HPS. Could be the CC sativa domin clones. Nice Job though,:good job:
Thanks bcd. They are only vegging under the 250w hps. Flowering under 400w. My first grow I started flowering at 14". They finished over 4ft. On my 2nd they started flowering at 9".They will finish over 3ft. One of them is 1 stem, no off shoots. The bottom 18" is bare. Peace....
Looks good so far. Well the set up does. Your plants look terrible. BUT, they look like they're starting to get better. Just make sure you leave yourself some room so you can trim off the bottom stuff once it gets going. If you tie your plants to the top of the screen rather than loop the branches through the screen, you won't have to cut your screen. Just untie or if using zip ties, just cut them and your screen will last a long time. A lot less headache too.
How you going to move them if they hit that screen before you have room in flower? I've seen worse plants, they erect and have new growth
The whole rack fits through the closet door. They are going to get fed this evening. Should look better in a couple days. Peace....

Well then, your lucky you got it done in 20 minutes. I would have picked the shit up, did 20 minutes of bongs, picked the shit up again, look at it. Do 20 more minutes of bongs, put the pvc together. Do 20 more minutes of bongs..... so 20 minutes total is pretty damn fast. :good job:
Here's the girls, looking much better, under the 400w hps. They were fed wk 3 veg nutes yesterday.They are going to veg, at 18/6, for another week or so. The one on the right is moving a little faster the the others, but they have all reached the screen. Peace....
Looking better. I would pull the yellow, shitty looking leaves. It will make them look better and new ones will come in quick. Well, that's what I'd do anyways.
Here are the girls day 4 12/12. They were feed wk 1 flower nutes a couple days ago. They are filling the screen nicely. I have noticed that the nodes are much tighter. Not sure if that if from all the bending or the light being much closer. I have been tucking all the new growth under the screen, as they begin to stretch I may just tie them down.
