Well just thought Id stop in to say hi and Happy new years to all my fellow growers. Its been a while since Ive been on here, how is everyone doing. I still see a bunch of names I knew still posting so I take it everything is going well. Well recently I got into breeding ball pythons and rats. Its keeping me busy so I dont try and grow any more here in the shit hole state that I live in, and is pretty fun IMO. Im up to 14 snakes and about 75 breeder female rats and like 20 male rats to get the job done lol. I produce enough rats that I can sell to pay for everything my Ball Pythons use so when they finally start producing eggs it will be all profit. Best thing is the Color and pattern Morphs that I have go for $150ish on the low end and as much as $2500 for a really nice one. And thats just the start, there are Ball pythons in the $5,000-$50,000 range that I hope one day I can get my hands on. It is more than just money Im after with the Ball Pythons, there are over 200 different morphs out there right now and when you combined 2 of these crazy stuff happens and new colors and patterns are achieved. Ill try and post some of the pics of the snakes I have now.Another good thing is Mrs. Boa and I are planning on making the big move down to Colorado this August finally and I hope I can get back to doing what I love along with living in a better place to raise my two beautiful daughters. From the research my Wife did on the location were thinking of my Construction/real estate company should be able to grow, Should have some beautiful weather ( I like a mix but with 300+ days of sunshine who can go wrong lol), and from what I hear from my cousin that moved there two years ago the people down there are just amazing. And now my rats and the racks that do their business in lol. Each female has around 10-15 babies a month and on average I have around 150 babies for sale along with a bunch of frozen rodents that some of my customers would rather have. Even with my rats tho I have a few different kinds and my favorite are these black rats that when put together they produce Blue rats kinda like the color of a Blue pit. IDK Im weird but this stuff interests me... Thanks man, and they are my Balls not Boa's lol. Almost the same thing except Boa's lay live young and get huge, Balls stay around 3-6 ft and lay eggs. Thx man and glad to stop back in and say hi to everyone!!:coolbounce:

Thanks everyone! oFo thx man wait till you see what they produce next winter. these are all single gene snakes except the first two pics. They are a combination of two of the other snakes that I have a Pastel and a Spider. When mixed it produces the colors and pattern that the first snake has which is called a Bumble Bee, and when you add another gene it will be even crazier and way different than anything you have ever seen which increases the value. And AP if my rodent biz takes off ill def. fly you over to have a nice vacation in Colorado with a few of us.
For what its worth man its good to see your survive 2 felonies for growing weed and find yourself another passion involving a similar skill set. I hope you make it man cos you deserve it Boa:thumbsup:
Gotta live n learn. I was young dumb and wanted to have fun. Now I have two little beautiful girls that I need to keep my mind on. One day when all is legal and im in that beautiful sunny state ill have my nice little personal garden and ill be back here full force. But till then ill stick to my snakes and other animals. I will be around for a while but If I disappear its cause I might be getting an ich to grow and need to take a break from all this beautiful action goin on. I know a few people got disappointed in me once the last bust happened but hey I delt with my shit and im almost done with the legal process and I can get back to my life. Glad to see you guys again!
Ive learned a person fails only cause he gives up. Nothing is to over powering to stop me from being a successful man. And I dont mean success as in being rich cause money is nothing but problems if thats what your worried about. I cant let these two little bumps in the road knock me off course. Ive learned from my mistakes and my cuts and bruises have made me wiser and stronger. LOL 20 years from now my friends and family will laugh at me cause I got in trouble for growing some plants that should be legal by then lol. Im a fighter and the ones who are on my FB page know this by seeing me post many many articles, posts, research studies, and just my honest opinion on how cannabis should be legal. for the rant but I kinda need to vent. maybe one to many :roffl:
But yeah back to the Rodent biz that the Apprentice is talking about is an idea that I have. I my self being a breeder have met many other snake breeders and our biggest problem is finding a consistent rodent and small animal breeder. There are many out there but the demand for snake food is to over powering. So I started with a few female rats and im now in the process of expanding to over 150 female rats which could potentially produce on average $1500 a month in sales besides what I feed my snakes. Im also experimenting with breeding rabbits and when I finally move this fall Im hoping to open up a small facility to start an operation. I was looking for a good name and The Apprentice joking said call it "BreedKind", and man that works perfect cause ill be breeding many different kinds of feeder rodents and maybe bugs and I like doing things the right way not just doing it for the money. I really enjoy seeing something be reproduced and it takes alot of learning and setting things up properly other wise it wont run smooth. Ive been to about 4 breeders facilities and they just dont put any passion into it. LOL u should see the ventilation system I set up for my rats, could have swore I learned that from somewhere lol...
Hey Boa nice snakes and rats! Its good to see you doing your thing and rather professional while you're at it. Looks like a fascinating hobby, just makes sure that rat-cage-construction doesn't fall over, otherwise you're gonna have to get a few more pythons to clean up the mess around the house
LMAO Thx Link and yes I try to keep it as professional as possible to help keep it simple. As for the racks falling, that aint gonna happen. The Boa is a builder and I do a damn good job at it man. I even sell my snake and rat racks on craigslist and my FB page.
