ok, I left for a long weekend and left my bestie in charge of my shit. Watch my dogs and house, and take care of plants. I left her specific instructions for chemicals, etc. Soooo..... she just watered them. Friday night. I get back late last night, and they're just blasted. Soooo..... I thought once a male unleashed around females, that was it. These were pretty far along - they must have just popped when I left, so almost a whole week in there with my girls. And my moms got exposed last night.... (at least I think they're moms, who the fuck knows now...) Spray them with water will do the trick? I'm not concerned about a few seeds here and there, this stuff is just for me. But I also don't want to continue a strain if it's going to always have seeds in it.... ? They aren't hermie so what's the problem with a few seeds? Just pull the males when you grow those beans out like normal...
If they were in there for a while with mature flowering females then you may get some seeds in the buds but since they were pollenated by a regular male and not a hermie then there shouldn't be any worry of further seeds in the future. As long as you don't mind pulling a few seeds out of your buds then I would finish them. I would rinse them all and resume as normal. The mothers or any non flowering plants can be rinsed and should be fine. Discard the males and be a little more vigilant in the future. I see no reason to scrap everything and start over.
They're not that mature. I'd say in flower for about two weeks now. So what I'm understanding is this - If I rinse everything off with water: the flower girls will probably get a few seeds. The moms will be just fine and dandy. No seeds, because they were never flowered... Yes? No? GTWT :XXhippylove:
Whew. Ok, I'm off to go rinse. Yeah, primarily for personal use. I help a friend out here and there, but it would be embarrassing to give someone a bag with seeds in it. IMHO. So I'd prefer not to. If my mums are ok, then I'll do what I was going to do and clone them in a month or so. Gonna wipe down everything in the meantime, just in case. GTWT :XXhippylove:
