I came from a third world country and I am blessed to be an american. I agree Hank. It was funny and in context to the tone of that former thread. My wife made a joke to break the tension and some people FREAKED out. Personally a lot of other things said by other people in that thread were far more offensive and grounds for some sort of discipline than anything she or I said. To ban us and call us names for no good reason was a very childish move. I see it as a tantrum by a grown individual. I may have strong views and opinions and so does my wife and we're strong in our beliefs and faith. We say what we feel and think freely and should be free to do so without judgement or attacks. Heated discussion is one thing but what happened today is completely another thing and was out of line. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not thinking clearly here. I seriously don't know what triggered all this madness. A joke is a joke and that joke wasn't the least bit offensive. If you can't laugh at yourself then you'll take everything everyone says too personally and always get your feelings hurt. I've definitely thickened my skin since being a member here but it seems like some are going the other direction and becoming too thin skinned. I refuse to walk on eggshells here at GK. I'll always be me and be unapologetic for it. I'm here and sticking around whether some people like or or not. asssit:

Ya mon. Well said Lvs. Yesterday was crazy. I see that very few people have commented on this thread but it seems that people had all sorts of stuff to say after we were banned yesterday. To those of you that thought that any of yesterday's shenanigans were warranted then to you I say.... Too bad! We're back! To stay! I know some people were glad I was banned but it was gross abuse of power over a personal beef. I will move on and continue to contribute to GK just as I always have. Ohh and I'm sure I'll chime in on another thread in the future and say something that won't sit well with someone. You can please some people some of the time but you can't please all the people all the time. Love us or hate us or feel indifferently to us. It makes no difference cuz we love you all. Oh yes he did! I cant play those games but a bunch of people I work with talk about it all the time. If any one of them spent five minutes in real combat they's shit themselves. I'm glad Mr and Mrs Ras are back. Justice served. Hope we can all get along for a while. Peace
I love playing Call of Duty,seriously love it. If im stressed then an hour on COD sorts me out. Seriously wish i could play with some more GKers on PS3. Usually me and skuzz just. :bong2:
