When do you guys stop pinching (for those of us who pinch)?

I pinch up till 7 days into flower to help slow down shoots that are stretching ahead of the others. I've been doing it for years.

Is that also about the same time you'd stop trimming leaves and small under growth? I've been trimming a bit longer into flower but recently I've been thinking it'd be better to trim more earlier rather than a little at a time. hmmm..

Good question. I used to trim up to third week of flower, and pretty aggressively too for those first three weeks of flower.

This time I did not and I have a bit of a jungle on my hands.

I only use pinching during veg. I trim undergrowth and leaves the whole time. I try to balance light penetration with keeping at least one nice size leaf per bud. As things grow out you have to judge whether or not the leaf is helping the bud it's attached too more or if clipped the secondary bud on another branch it was covering would benefit you more getting some direct light to harden it up.

I pinch and bend taller stocks (to keep an even canopy) that grow to fast all the way into flower week 4-5.

I stop thinning out in flower after the stretch and take only large fans.
