Oregon Green Seed Mastedon Grow

I finally am getting around to posting this grow up, mostly stoned laziness


on my part. Anyway, I finally got em going a while back. Mastedon is a cross between two Indica's--L A Confidential and Endless Sky. Got 11 regular seeds ( no fems ) for 55 bucks, counting shipping and had them in a week. The Seeds are all dark and healthy. As they were grown outdoors,


the seed husks are thicker and they took a few days to pop. I started 4 for a get to know ya run. They all cracked and I put them in my new tent to veg on 18/6 under a 400 mh. Growing them in Pro mix BX and using Advanced Nutrient veg and bloom two part series.


Here they are after a 25 day veg.





After sexing, I wound up with one girl. I took some clones and put her under the 1000 HPS . Jumping ahead, here the female at day 34 of flower. This plant is easy to grow, sucks up the nute's and is not fussy at all. I didn't top it so the plant went to 34 inches. OGS say's 42-55 days. At day 34 I am getting some red hairs and cloudy trichs. As for being that early, i am leaning more towards an 8 week strain, but we shall see.





Nice, Tight inter nodal spacing and plenty of bud sites. Going to top the next bunch to keep the plant a little shorter. Should make for a forest of cola's. i will be taking more fan leaves off soon to expose the buds more.

Hey BBT nice to see what you have going on. Are planning to jump right into flower with your rooted cuts or are you giving them some veg time?

FF, the Indica's will get a little longer normal Veg time. Now that I have the tent, I can do that more easily. The Sat cross is easier to get production out of when flowering out clones 12/ 12.


Res, I have taken out some of the Fans but yeah, As it grew the leaf structure changed.

Hi, folks


The Mastedon is coming down today at the 8 week mark. Got a nice smell to it and plenty of trichs. So here is a few pics.

They are just starting to dry now so I will get some bud shots up in a few days. Wife and I tried a test bud a few days ago and we are not disappointed. I will get back later with a proper report.


So far, I would recommend this one. Easy to grow and a good producer.

Looks great!! Wish the female % was a little higher for ya, but we're playing the odds with regular seeds. You got a great price tho!!


Was the AN nutes the Sensi series. I used that for years and loved it. The company I bought from had a little $ clash with the dude at AN and stopped carrying it for a little while. I switched to Dutch Master and was happy so stayed.

I took clones from this one and these two have been in the veg tent for about 6 weeks now.








I am going to keep one as a Mom and have already taken 6 more clones that just went into the starter pots. One thing about this strain is that it takes about 10 days in the cloner to start roots and then it roots like crazy. Are Indica's slower to clone than Sat's ? Dunno. I still have 6 seeds left from the order and if this proves out as good as I want it to be , I will set up a separate room and make a seed crop out of a couple. My nesxt order from


OGS is probably going to be her cut of Green Crack.


She is calling it LIly Koi and it sounds promising. so, we shall see.

:thumbs-up: Man, those girls have some tight internode spacing. Gonna be some bushy ones with plenty of clones! Don't really know about Indica cloning times, everything I've had were hybrids?
