So I'm watering the garden last night and i notice my light that is to the digital ballast is flickering. Befor i can do anything the magnetic ballast next to it literally caught on fire right in front of me. I have breakers in the room and they opened and did their job. Scared the shit out of me. I personally ran all the wiring to the grow stuff and haven't figured out what happened yet. I had two weeks to go so i pulled everything except one candyland leaning pheno and put it under18/6 with my t5. The t5 is connected to the house wiring, not anything i installed. Still don't understand the fire cause that wiring was to code and working for the last ten years.
Probably just that the ballast wore out. Do you move it occasionally? Maybe a wire inside came loose or frayed? I have no idea if a magnetic ballast even has wires but obviously something inside over heated. Now about the fuzzy pictures, my phone takes great pictures except from my garden or even the chopping pictures. They never seem to be a true representation of what's in front of me. They look well, "greyer" I guess would be the word. Also a lot duller looking. The color just isn't there. That's why I stopped posting pictures. My "real" camera Just takes to long to make sure that the battery is all charged and ready to go.
Nice looking grow...that one pick looked like a pineapple. I think c99 will always be my fave grow and smoke strain. Cool the c19 turned out to be pretty good.
