Wish I knew...I know the server is not the same as for the forums and passwords have been a problem in the past. Other than that I don't know...I don't use chat much myself.
Yep, I had the same problem. Herb tried but there wanst much he could do, i thinks its supposed to be your password when you first joined if you changed your password recently.
george and johnny this might not work.....but I remember someone else trying this and it worked. George_Roberts and then your password same for you johnny put that lil line in there between the space in your names Good luck

i have been trying to figure out a similar problem with the avatar uploader. it seems the people who have the most trouble are those who have a space in their username. recently i made an account with the name Mellow Dood, and in order to upload avatars i had to use an underscore like this: Mellow_Dood. this works even after i changed my password from the random one assigned to me originally. strangely, i was able to enter the chat without using an underscore at first. then after i changed my password i could only login with my original password for chat, the one that growkind e-mails automatically when an account is first created. this is what i think was happening... when you go to your profile to change your password you MUST login using an underscore in your name, like Mellow_Dood. otherwise, the password change will not take effect for anything other than logging into the boards. so if you're having trouble now, goto your profile, login with george_roberts and then change your password. now your password should work in chat, whether you use an underscore or a space in your name. when you want to change your avatar (after uploading a new one), you also need to login to your profile using an underscore. otherwise your personal avatars cannot be found. if anyone still has problems with the avatar uploader or chat send me a pm and i'll see what i can do.
