Newbies and Trolls

Well said Herby, well said.  The way I look at it there are five types of people who visit this site.


1. Surfers who accidentally come here by mistake.


2. Government authorities


3. Newbies who are sick of dealers and want to learn to grow


4. Compassionate experienced growers who offer their advice and experiences for the sake of humanity not money.


5. Jerkoffs who have no friends because of their attitude in life, so lonely and desperate for attention, come to the forums to seek attention whether it is negative or positive.  Like Herb says, control yourself, don't respond, and deprive these individuals of what they came here for.  Sooner or later they will disband and go elsewhere where their rhetorics and vulgar ideals are welcomed.

 

....there's actually 6 types of peeps, CG was an excellent grower, he had a lot of people eating out of his hand,including Webby, he changed his name from LUVDEMONSTERS, and way back then,you had to be a GURU, before you became a Mod,...so CLOSETGROWTH was elevated to GURU, and became a Mod.....(err ! you required 100 posts, to become a GURU....hehehe.....! )...he then took over the whole site, potted my OLD mate THC, and disgruntled pretty much everyone-else......the guy switched personality's like a chameleon,....we know the rest.....but there's quite a few split personality's in the GK-pot.....wow !!! remember Gemini, she demanded and got the Polotics Forum,....and then went for a ......Number 6-6-6 Smurf....split peeps....

i dont qualify for any of those classifications...but i always have been the black sheep

 

I've been here for a while and have not responded to any posts until this one. I am a newbie and I am here because I felt like I had something in common with everyone. We're all smoker's, right? I don't like stirring things up, flaming, etc., but I love reading the posts in the Lounge. I know this is a site for growers. I am very much a rookie grower and this year's patch has already been ruined by a fucking hailstorm! I know very little about growing. As a kid I used to collect the seeds from people's bags "lids" back then. And I would scatter them all over the countryside-a sort of Johnny Reeferseed. Even when I went through a five year stint that I didn't smoke at all, I was still an advocate of marijuana. I contribute to NORML and try to voice my opinion openly. It gets me in trouble sometimes, but what the hell.


If this is a site exclusively for growers, maybe I'm in the wrong place. I would like to stay, but only if it's alright with you senior members.

Politics & Smokers lounges are just a place to vent ! & some do have a habit for trash talking .


use the search , & READ READ READ . thats the best advice . then if you can't find the specific question to your problem post it & i'm sure you'll get some good if not great responces ..

wsup? well I didnt take time to read all the posts, so if im repeating what someone already said, I apoligise. I agree 100% with smurf, newbies are newbies. everybody was a newbie at one point. When a newbie asks a Q thats already been answered, just give em a link. And can someone tell me the deal with all this "drama" that i hear so much about? If it really bothers you so much, dont read it, its that simply. And if you wanna read it then just dont respond to it. By responding, no matter what u say, your just fueling it. Some of you people totally over react to something thats so simply, its acttully kinda funny. So thats all I gotta say.


O yea, whitey I made that post what 4-5 months ago? Get a life you loser. I think that you bitch just for the stake of bitchin. You start as much if not more **** then most newbies/"trolls". So once again GET A LIFE.

Halfbaked, I made this post months ago and someone dug it up, Check the date...So how about you get a life where you have enough intelligence to think befor insulting someone, "Just give them a link"? If you spent as much time as most of the question awnsering people you would understand that it gets annoying "Giveing them a link" ten times a day. Then haveing to sift through all thouse threads to find one that actually needs an awnser, And no i dont start ****, I rarely even post unless i feel strongly on the subject and the only two posts i have made that started **** were about the same subject...

 

Ok well I guess if cant bother looking up a link then dont answer the Q. And if you find your posting a link over an over then throw the page in the FAQ.
