I was gonna say anywhere from 30-40

I have done both. I now prefer 32 plants (1 per sq. ft. in my 4'x8' table.) Vegged to about 12"-16" before flowering.

If you want to veg to 24" and have the height to grow 4-5 ft tall plants in a flood table then you will need to reduce the number of plants to something like 10-20

The size of your table and reflector come into play as well.

    32 12" gave you more buds than 16 24" ?

I don't really have the vertical height to grow them that big in my flood table... PLus as they get that tall they want to fall over and supporting them becomes an issue.

When I did bigger plants I was growing in soil and Hempy. I averaged about 1 lb per harvest at that time. I got 1.75 lbs per light on my last harvest.

Probably a 4'x4' or maybe a 5'x5' if they even make a 5'x5' flood table. Depends on your reflector size. I use 2 1k watt lights over each 4'x8' table.
