Chopped my Cotton Candy hempy grow. This was my 2nd run with CC. First was in soil form seed. I chopped that one early because she stretched so much. I put her clone in to my 1st hempy bucket. I didn't have any real problems with the hempy. It's super easy, just like everyone said. Also using GH 3 part with the Useless formula for the 1st time. The plant did stretch just like her mom. She finished out at just over 3ft tall. I have more pics but can't get them to upload. Keep getting "Upload of file failed" message. So these will have to do for now. She went a full 8 weeks. Nice combination of cloudy and amber trichomes at harvest. I have 1 more CC in soil, my last soil grow BTW, that is 4 weeks into flower. Same stretching issues. I have 2 more clones and a mom that I am not sure if I want to keep. The finished smoke will tell me if it's worth keeping. That's all the good news. Now for the bad. I also have Big Bang and Chemdog growing. The BB has nute problems that I could not get a handle on. Her leaves had this going on all through her life cycle. Towards the end of flowering lots of "eagle clawing" of the leaves. Really light and airy buds. Again, sorry no pics. All my reading gave me different answers, not enough N, over water, Ph problems. Tried to fix them all. Never could figure it out. I have another clone about to go in to flower. I let you know how she goes. Now Chemdog. I have only grown out the CD in soil. I have 3 clones vegging now in hempy. Great grower. No nute problems that I saw. Awsome smoke. Great smell. Nice citrus flavor. Nice up high. So far VERY hard for me to clone. From the seed plant I took 2 clones, only 1 rooted. The first clones were done in soil. For my 2nd shot at cloning I took 6 cutting and put them in peat pucks. I took 12 days for roots to show on 3, 2 didn't make it and 1 still waiting. That's it. We're all up to speed now. Peace....
Nice looking plants. So having tried hempy, will you ever do soil again? I know I won't unless there are special circumstances.
That Cotton Candy is nice and crystally. :goodjob: I grew out one Big Bang freebie and it went fine. No funny leaves and was a nice tasting smoke. :eusa_eh:
