Today is one week since i switched my bitches to 12/12 schedual... i was wondering when i will be seeing buds growing. i can see very tiny things not sure what they are yet (male or female) cause they are way to small. dont have a mag glass either. how many weeks intoflower do they get noticable
You should see the sex within the next week. Get a magnifier to tell if it has balls. Buds will become very noticeable after about three weeks of 12/12 some strains show earlier. Alot of it has to do with genetics of the plant.
Females are defined by two little hairs coming out of a calyx(tear drop shaped upwards pointing pod) and the males show little clusters of balls with no hairs coming out.. they look like nut sacks hangin...or bananas. It normally takes up to 3 weeks for all plants to show.. some strains show within days and some show within a few weeks.....just depends. Also it's a mythi that females or males show sooner or later... that's all BS.. I 've had females take 3 weeks to show. I've also have males show within days and it take 2 weeks.. so it all depends.. It takes about 2 weeks for little popcorn buds to start showing, and then they start to take off from there. Your buds begin to become pronounced between the 5th and 9th weeks.. some strains take up to 16 weeks to finish(sativa's) and some can finish with 8-10 weeks( Indica's). Be patient and keep watching them.
This is the second time ive read a member call the plants bitches. Have some respect for the ladies. They will always be good to you. BTW, you really cant call them bitches anyways cause you dont know the sex yet.:5masked:
