Since these are both considered hydroponic, i decided put them in this forum...The first plant in coco/perlite is a Supreme CBD Kush from Nirvana... She's under a 430 watt Son Agro hps in a 24x42" screen...... The second plant in coco/perlite, between the 315s, under the 185 watt led, is a sister plant, completely different plant in looks and growth habit... The third pic is Nirvana Blue Mystic, It's in a waterfarm under a ss 315 w cmh. Its stretch is the longest i've run across when growing in a waterfarm/scrog setup.... The last pic is Nirvana Blackberry in a WF, under a ss 315... Kinda like the way its looking... That scrog screen is 24"x80"... Forgot to mention it's 23 days 12/12 for all plants

I personally think waterfarms are waaaay under rated and under used. Ive used them for about 10 years now myself. The quality of plant health and growth rates are phenominal if cared for with basic skills.

From someone who has tried it all and failed at 80% of typical methods, the waterfarm and ebb n flow tables are by far the most successful and reliable methods out there I think

Kudos on the grow my man, everything looks pretty on point!:passsit:

37 days 12/12... All of them should be done by the first week of April..... I plan on 4 water farms of whatever seems to be the better of the three strains next grow.... Got lucky feeding the Blackberry and Blue Mystic feeding from the same reservoir.... They both seem to like the same ppm... Starting the outside vegetable garden.... It's been in the mid 70s *f the last 10-12 days.... Got to get a head start here with the greens, it'll be to hot by late May for lettuce and other mixed greens... .. Melons and squash go in the last of April, first of May..... Will start planting in late August for my winter garden...

Nip, get 1...itll blow your mind after it gets roots in the water. Ican go from a foot tall plant to a 4ft tall plant in 3-4 weeks

But what's the concept? I just don't understand. Someone was trying to tell me it's like blowing air in straw so I was thinking like dwc...but why not just do dwc.

Submerge a 12 inch long, 1/4 inch tube, 1/2 it's length in the water.... Introduce air into the bottom of the tube... increase the air flow until the water bubbles out the top of the tube.... The water can't get out of the way of the rising air fast enough, so some water comes out the top of the tube... The more air that comes in the bottom of the tube, the more the water comes out the top... The air pumps we use wont move a lot of water, just enough to feed a drip ring......

We all know that oxygen is absorbed at the surface of the water.... The hydroton is the key to supply oxygen to the water in a waterfarm, like a stream flowing over rocks.... The huge surface area of 9 liters of hydroton is where oxygen is absorbed into the water..... I've never used an air stone in the waterfarm its self, but it wouldn't hurt, and might improve performance.... When i use a separate reservoir, i put one in the reservoir just to keep it mixed....

I like the water farm concept, but I found that the air pumps were too loud and puts out warm air, thus warming up the water too much, so I used a submersible water fountain pump. It's much quieter and doesn't warm up the water. I also used lava rocks instead of the hydroton. The holes and jaggedness of the lava rocks made the water splash around more, thereby increasing the surface area and getting more oxygen in the water. ...and they are cheaper. :coolbounce:

Your plants are look great! :good job:

I got a water farm bucket from some dude for $25. I take it, the rock bucket sits in/over the res bucket and its just pumping water from the res to a drip hose on top and then it drains to the res and pump back to top, so on and so on? Should it be on a timer?
