I stumbled on a deal that I felt is worthy of passing on. Although I just ordered mine yesterday, the description with 4.5 star user review on Amazon nearly makes it a no brainer to try. For $4.15 (shipping included) you get 2 30x magnification loupes. The lens is glass, not plastic. For those needing more power than your typical magnifying glass, yet not as much as a cheap microscope for checking on your trichomes, this looks like a deal I had to share. I have a couple of 30X and I find for me that they don't have enough magnification to read trikes. I use the Radio Shack 100X magnifier.
you are correct they are glass but not optical glass. thats the very same one my bro bought, it sucks, doesnt even come close to a true jewelers glass like the one i paid 40 bucks for. my brother was really disapointed we used them side by side i could barely see the trichs with his neither could he but we both see them with mine funny thing is they both say 30x only difference is his is glass which is cast and polished where the optical glass is ground and therefore more precision. in this case you get what ya pay for.
