A GK member has passed

    I just found out today, our dear friend RecessionGrower died a couple of days ago. He was 27.


    He had a stroke while driving over the weekend, and while in the hospital, he had a heart attack that did him in. He was significantly overweight, so that was likely the cause. They don't suspect drugs or anything of that nature. He's been troubled since losing his mom about a year and a half ago, and hasn't been well to himself.


    My heart is heavy bringing you all this news. He was one of my first friends when I moved out here.


    Please keep his remaining family in your thoughts, as they have lost two of theirs in the past 2 years.

    I've wondered the same.


    Just random that I met him. He found out I was moving to this general area, and we chit chatted, and found out I was only a few miles away from each other. First time meeting a GK peep for either of us. Like I said, he was one of my first real friends out here. I moved back east not knowing a soul, brand new town, just a chick and her dogs. It took the edge off, when I found him out here.
