OK, so i just bought "Miracle Gro" Plant food Spikes. there about 2 inches long and blue in color.(similar to sig) Is this any similar to Miracle "Grow Plant Food" that is in crystal form and blue in color. What is better? And can i mix at same time ? I recently stuck 5 sticks in each pot. Help me out plz asssit:

Yah, I have a feeling you are going to burn the HELL out of those plants with those sticks. I use MG organic soil and the bloom nutes, but that doesn't mean they are easy to use....and five HAS to be too much, be careful.
:F-A-Q: A lot of people spent a lot of time writing the shit down. Just about everything a new grower needs is in there. MG sticks aren't in there, so avoid them, lol. Don't half ass shit. Don't cut corners. Plan before you spend money. Check out the DIY area and see what people have built, check out the gardens and see how people grow and then figure out what your going to do, write it all up, draw a floor plan, post it up.

So there you have it. Pull those spikes, you don't know how fast or in what amounts they release the ferts. Read, read then read some more. You started right by asking and these guys grow hella toke. Listen to-em and you WON'T be disappointed. cheers and welcome aboard.
I've used the miricale grow spikes with several different types of plants. They tend to be pretty good with roses and fruit-bearing plants, but have always killed the shit out of my MJ plants. The sticks are too concentrated on one small, specific area and what I think happens is that MJ roots at young tender ages are too sensitive to handle it and when they grow into the area where the spikes were placed they get burned, but this is only a guess. I just know every time I've used them with marijuanna plants, they died. The regular crystalized miracle grow, in the rigt proportions works fine, though. If you want to try te spikes, wait and do it with just one or two experimental plants once they've already gotten pretty strong and established a healty root system, and only use them as directed.
wwboy use a good quality organic soil ....you dont need to feed em nothing for like 4 wks and then only 1/2 strength for the next two.....under feed you can fix/burn em your all done...go slow and dont baby em much bro....they do well without yer adding junk too soon....each is diff....ive had heavy feeders& some that dont want nothing....(LET YOUR PLANT TELL YOU WHAT IT WANTS)....best luck bro.
Ty guys for your opinions and help. I have grown great MJ before, it just i told my friend to buy the crystal form at Walmart and he came back with sticks instead. So i gave them a try. I did remove the sticks so i do not burn them. And TY for a quick save
