My first tent grow has begun My room is as follows 4x4x7 grow tent 1000w mh/hps hung in a 6" air cooled hood 440 cfm eco plus fan with a 6x24 scrubber Titan 4 fan controller 4 passive intakes all filtered Fox farms ocean forest soil & fox farms Nutes Water is being filtered by my Brita pitcher right now ahaha and then PH checked.(im working on a home water filter right now just need taxes to come back!!!!) I germinated 7 seeds , 5 outta the 7 sprouted, and the 6th looks like it was trying but it looked like it had stopped so i threw it under the soil and well see what she does! So I have 3 ak48 and 2 Papaya that are above ground right now in 5 gallon airpots. 2 of them still have the casing of the seed attached(PUSH!!!! PUSH!!!) and id figure by tomorrow they will shed them. Regardless two more seeds will begin germinating tomorrow to fill the pots! Pics to come tomorrow. Thanks guys
Nice strains! I grew some papya once and the buds had pink and purple in them. Ordered more seeds and they were plain.
lucky man, i love papya its was so relaxing and so good, narcotic for sure and tasty. Pulling up a chair:bravo:
Well guys a little update, everythings going smooth, max temp im my room is 80 after 18hrs, doesnt get below 65 degrees. just chugging along.
Going on 3 weeks guys , plants are looking really nice I'm going to get pictures this weekend . All look indica dominant which is fine with me . I'm going to veg for another 2 weeks or so. Only problem thus far is some fungus nats. And I mean like 3 nats. So I payed down so diAmacteous earth over the top layer of soil and am waiting on some go nats from the local grow shop. Everythings going great!
Hey guys a couple pics sorry there shitty the light is on! the white powder is the earth i put on top of the soil. Once the gnats are gone completly i will take off that top layer of soil then put fresh soil down. the last pics just for fun!
Hey Eddie your setup and plants are looking good. Just wanted to advise you to veg them a little longer, to fully utilize the big 5 gallon root pouches. Of course you gotta call your own shots, but I'd let em get cozy in those pots first
Hey guys new pic, plants are doing good, they just got their first watering with nutrients today (fox farms) , one little thing ive noticed , one of the plants on the very tippy tips is turning yellow. Ive had this happen before and it was nutrient lock. The only thing i think it can be if the lights to close???? the 1000watt is about 32" or about 2 1/2 feet give or take from the plants, is this ok?
Yes that is ok. If your lights are too close, the plants will respond with upward curling leaf edges....and in a severe case, light bleaching. Are the yellowing tips on the whole plant, or just on the bottom leaves. Post a pic of the affected leaves, that's the best way for us to diagnose the problem
I think the tips are caused by a slight overfeed, but nothing worth worrying about because you're plants are looking perfectly healthy all around.
Hey guys little update: Plant will begin 12/12 Tomorrow, little earlier than expected, but its definitely time. the last 2 days since they were feed with nutrients they have exploded(probably has something to do with my nutrients being properly PH'ed. I have set the screen up so when the plants touch the screen they will be a foot and a half away from the light. or 52" tall. This is from me letting them get to big , ill probably let them go a couple weeks into flower before i start tying fishing weights onto the top to help the plants bend over because even though i have short strains i know they are gonna hit that screen fairly quick. Ill post some good pics tomorrow when i get the HPS installed before they go to 12/12 . Thanks guys! 8-11 more weeks!
