Here's what brewing in the veg tent at the moment. The whole packs were popped, and both strains had good germination times. With the Ane, all 10 seeds spouted within 2-3 days. The Chocolate Mix, 14 out of 15 sprouted, also within 2-3 days. 4 of the CMs were germinated a few days later, cause I ran outa coco jiffys, so they are still smaller than the rest. Well that's about it, will update the stats at a later time. Things aren't that spectacular yet, not much to show, but threads are worthless without pics /monthly_2012_02/57a6cc4bbf67b_AnethesiaandChocoMix.JPG.2b93880e404ab86f2470f454e58d1739.JPG
I'm not sure yet Ras, but I'm thinking 4-5 weeks. I'd like to grow them big, but I kinda rushed planting these, so now I have some space issues. Three spots are opening up in the flowering tent in by the end of the month, but that's not enough room for all those. That leaves me with only two options, let them veg for a very long time, or flower them out SOG style in the veg tent. I'm kinda favoring the second option, but we'll see.
That's kinda funny... I have a similar situation with my Shark Shocks. I mistimed things and I have these Sharks that will be ready to flower in no more than 3 weeks at most and my extra flower room already has 6 plants 3 weeks into flower and they won't be ready for at least 7 more week!! I could squeeze them all in now, or else I am gonna have to wait and they are gonna be monstrous and I don't know if they will possibly fit in my space by then and be able to produce quality buds..... What to do?...:wtf?::BangHead::icon_confused::jj::roffl:
poor us, we have it rough! too many ganja plants? its a luxury to have problems like that, but its a problem non the less.
Update: The planties are just trucking along. The Anethesias are stinky fuckers, they smell strong, skunky, and funky. All the plants were repotted into bigger shoes, which the poor rootbound plants needed badly. Some of them are starting to show preflowers, and one Choco Mix male was removed already. There are also some straglers/runts amongst the bunch, two were removed for being weak with crappy rootballs. The runts that intrigue me get to stay..... for now... Here's the latest shot of the veg tent. The taller plants on the left side and around the outside, are the Choco Mix. The plants with yellow markers are the Anethesia. /monthly_2012_02/P2171769.JPG.2feeb1864f5ad172cc982ff236759f44.JPG /monthly_2012_02/P2141749.JPG.4ab7555a516ea842ccdde4edde8cb9e5.JPG
Update: Today's update is a quick profile of the Chocolate Mix plants. Out of 14, I ended up with 7 girls, and by the looks of it there are at least 3 different phenos. The Chocolate Mix girls will be going 12/12 in the coming days, after another transplant into bigger shoes. They were fed the 3 week Useless formula at 3/4th strength and it was a bit too much for them, so they have some eagle clawing going on. Here's some pics of the CM girls, one of them is not shown in the pic, but is of the same size. /monthly_2012_03/P3021884.JPG.ab9d3480339eb101a67daea8289815ab.JPG /monthly_2012_03/P3021885.JPG.f6eece24f89af98a504b5a5661aa74e6.JPG /monthly_2012_03/P3021876.JPG.faa6cfea4e4554cafde9d962577575f3.JPG /monthly_2012_03/P3021887.JPG.167934192507b609d96d404203eaadc1.JPG /monthly_2012_03/P3021888.JPG.3ce56d4e838add8fa4ef668764604eb2.JPG
Update: The Choco Mix girls (right side) are now at round week 3 of 12/12, they're starting flowering at a fast pace. The Anethesia girls (front and center) were added to the flower tent today, so they're still a lot smaller than the rest of the tent, lets hope they put on a good stretch. I love Anes structure and smell, she's a real pretty plant and smells totally dank. Update: The Choco girls are now at over 4 weeks of 12/12. The girls are now budding nicely, especially the trich production is off the charts already. Unfortunately one of the six showed a naner, and due to my 0 hermy tolerance policy, she was removed right away. The 6 Anethesia plants have been under 12/12 for over a week. They have put on a hell of stretch, but have not started to flowering yet. Update: The Choco Mix girls are approaching week 6. After a big stretch, the Anes are now starting to flower :thumbs-up: /monthly_2012_04/P4172067.JPG.02e5c56ead9e0b7187f82dd513c01763.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4172083.JPG.22be94362caf69ecde62ff110f4eaa9c.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4172075.JPG.e404f944d37e7169029e843b5a7aaa9e.JPG
and the smell, they reek so freakin good :thumbsup:A quick Update: The Choco girls are still packing on weight and trichs. The buds aren't huge, but their tight structure should still yield a good harvest. I checked the trichs on the fastest plant, and there are still more clear trichs than cloudy, with just a few ambers. The fastest one probably needs 2 more weeks, and the rest of them about 3 more weeks before they're ready to chop.Choco Mix The Anes don't waste time with bud production. They are real strong plants all around, with nice main colas. Trich production has started already, and the buds are developing quickly. Real impressed with this strain so far, looks to be a keeperAnethesia /monthly_2012_04/P4222092.JPG.7aaeee4616c4a6b14fe55bb170071781.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4222093.JPG.07ae0b3a237aa0d616062af8741efa0a.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4222095.JPG.fe6bb1e74b1a44ec1a461f8b245f39be.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4222097.JPG.2ed2d047506b57c3c4a34554a9d43216.JPG /monthly_2012_04/P4222098.JPG.83e5ccd7176b4c8827ba944df52615d4.JPG
Update: The girls are now at 8 weeks of 12/12. All phenos are almost ready for the chop. One pheno (pictured below) is more then ready for harvest, her trichs are mostly amber already. There are several different phenos in the Choco Mix, but based on the breeder's description, the fast pheno is probably a Budha's Sister cross. Esko describes her as a red cherry girl, with a hint of chocolate. She is a quick one, a true 7 week pheno. I should have checked her earlier, cause she is overly ripe at this point. Now she's getting a short flush, before bringing the scissors down on her.
