hello GK im a new register, but have been reading everything i could for the past 3 weeks before i posted or registered.

ok my question is once ur plants r budding is there any trimming that should be done ( fan leaves any kinda leaves etc.) to get more sun lite into the center and bottom of the plant. the get sun from around 6 am till around 2 pm. this is an outside grow the first plant i have grown in years. i just wanted to do some experimenting this summer. so when i peu in my tomato plants i just dropped some seeds from some very good bag seed that i got over the winter just to c what would happenn.. 2 plants come up one was a male and one female. done yanked the male 2 weeks ago after reading in the faqs on how to sex the plant. im lookin into some indoor growing and have done alot of research on this site and others and this is the best of all i have researched, and i mite add ''PAPPY'' is the man!

so as for the plant that i have growin its about 4 to 4 1/2 foot tall and bushy since i was topping it at earlt satges to try and keep it low an fat. (neighbors and all)

so once again hello all and any inpt on this matter would be greatly appreciated. thx and c ya around

do not trim any of the leaves off. i grow inside. i remove the lower nodes. the whole branch because they don't get enough light. outside I would say the lower branches get planty of light. the leaves feed the buds. they will yellow and fall off on their own. so in case you missed it. I say do not trim the leaves off. good luck

This is a tough situation for an outside grower. This year has been especially humid and I've been getting alot of bud rot. So, I pick every leaf off that has yellowed. This is because the decaying leaf matter was incubating more and more bud rot. Only leaves that have yellowed and are dying already.

Don't pick off green leaves. let them alone. If your lower limbs are small and not keeping up with the top, that's ok. You can always tie your upper limbs back (works best if done while in the veg. state), gently mind you, to let light into the bottom of the plant. I do this alot, and will definitely increase your yeild.

    Cheers and good luck!
