Does anyone have any experience with the automatic fire extinguisher system in this link? http://www.horticulturesource.com/product_info.php?products_id=7823
GREAT product. I personally don't have one, but I do know people who do and they love it. I keep meaning to get one, but the finances sometime won't allow garden upgrades at will. I'm sure there's at least a thread or two here on :GK: about them and it goes into pretty deep detail if I remember correctly. Here's the link to the prior thread . . . http://www.growkind.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37261&highlight=Fire+Extinguisher :alienwink:
If I had any ballast from htg I would definitely put one in. I need one anyway but as rky stated finances are always looking the other way when I get serious about one. Teamster6
Shit if you dont wants to burn ur house down and not get raided at the same time because of the fire. Everyone need this for indoors :not-worthy:
Saw a sign in an indoor garden center that simply asked. "Who do you want responding to your indoor garden fire?" We have one in Tronville and really feel better with it. Hope it never is put to the test but the local citizens sleep better with it installed. We Highly reccommend one.
fire destroys everything on of our customers had his out building with a full outdoor crop hanging and his indoor was a week out from harvest burnt to the ground it even melted his balasts. thats an entire seasons grow gone along with $20,000 in equipment... the fire marshal said it looked like it started in the middle of the flower room and looked like a hps bulb blew and the contents of the bulb ignited his plants .and yes they were hydro. so im thinking a coupleof flame defenders would've saved the equipment and the out door crop even if it did wast the indoor and the fire.i realy feel bad for this guy i even gave him a 400 mh and a 1,000 switchable to use untill he can afford new ones. oh and of corse clones OH AND P.S. THE FIRE MARSHAL ASKED HIM IF HE WAS A LEGAL GROWER
