Beginning with aeroponics

    Well everyone, I am a first timer and have some questions. I have the Aquamist II, an aeroponic system that I got off the net. I have some questions. First, the system comes with 8 3" containers to put the grow rocks into. Is 3" enough to grow a sufficient sized plant? Next, I plan on using this in a closet: what type of smell removers do you experts use? I want to get some seeds that are really good, any suggestions on getting them mailed into the US? I have a 1000 watt HPS light so thats covered. Can anyone with some aeroponic experience help a beginner out and get this moving....

    Use the search feature in the faq. Aero is the new kid on the block. I ain't went there yet. We have a buddy who is good, who is still getting that together. Three inches sounds like a taddy small. Are you shure it's not for cloning? I could be wrong. The deal is, you bring the food right to em' so they don't need to have huge roots. As I think about it, I think the roots are going to hang out of the basket, so they get the spray. That may be your answer. Go look for the MJ growers handbook. It will reveal all. Be carefull to set everything up safe, and tight. you don't want the light to fall, or water to leak onto the power cords, or whatever. Haste makes waste. There are lots of posts on right now, as to reduce smells. With a little time, and research, you will be cool. There are good posts current right now, where pros and cons of seed banks, with links. From what I hear, if the parcel gets "caught" by the man, they just destroy it. The scary part, is you get a postcard, telling you it got stopped, and you can go claim it. I wouldn't! I'm sure some areo guy's will post with some tips, too. Good luck.

    Congratulations on your courage, aeroponics looks tough but the trick to that is the root system (which will be bountiful) - You must try SM - 90 - by nutralife - it is a root enhancer and protector that keeps your roots nice and white and healthy - try to pick some really healthy clones and keep them short - with aeroponics the veg cycle is approx. only two weeks of your plants will outgrow your tray - good luck - peace man
