Best TV Shows of the Last Few Years

After watching The Walking Dead, I thought I might be missing out on some good tv shows from America.


I looked at one list of "25 Best TV Shows" (see link) and started downloading Breaking Bad. I watched the first 2 episodes of season 1 last night and it looks pretty awesome.


Any other suggestions? Just things from the last 5 years or so at the most. Thanks.

Nothing yet? C'mon people, help me out. I know some of you are glued to the tv on a regular basis. What have been some good shows in the last few years?

 

Ur gonna love Breaking Bad. It's awesome.


Check out "Hell on Wheels" also produced by AMC like Breaking Bad and Walking Dead.


"The Colony" is pretty cool. It's a reality based experiment. There are 2 seasons of it. From Discovery Channel I think.

Yeah, some good documentaries would be good also. People are always talking about that Drugs Inc. series. I might have to dwnld some of those as well.

 

Flash Forward was good till it got canceled.......im still pissed and of course the Sopranos series is KILLER

 

The poor man lived the plot. He almost ruined his marriage...maybe they did divorce cannot remmeber...but the man had to leave shooting and go to sex rehab.

ALways Sunny in Philadelpia - Pure fucking gold and so many seasons. Laugh a minute


Deadliest catch is way cool. Most REAL show on television...period.


Game of Thrones. One of the deepest plots i've ever seen. They even kill off the main character the first season. So badass.


Curb Your Enthusiasm- Best comedy show ever. Larry David guy who made up Seinfeld is the main character. Mostly improv. Every single character is a comedy improv genius. Mostly everyone on the show is Jewish (in real life), too. Pretty interesting.


I would list more but those are like top of the barrel and I cannot think of anything else.


Deadliest catch is not really worth a "top of the barrel" shout-out but I could see myself doing that for a year and I really enjoy seeing something truly reality. It kinda catches a fantasy of mine. Super fucking cool man. Those guys are really hard workers.

Falling Skys was good.


They better bring out a second series, because I really want to know what happens!

 

Breaking Bad is the single best TV show I've ever seen, you're gonna love it, it just keeps getting better as the story progresses.


Game of Thrones is my number 2 favorite TV show, once you start watching, its impossible to stop.


I also like Justified, it turned out to be a better show than expected.

 

Life's to short...Warwick davis....fucking hilarious....

 

Check out "Wilfred" only one season so far, but Damn it's funny. Aires on FX

 

Big bang theory and always sunny in philadephia.......These are 2 very funny shows.

LOST, Always Sunny, Misfits UK, Being Human UK, Weeds, The Event but it was cancelled too early but I heard it may come back to be picked up by Netflix and Falling Skies also cancelled too early but has been picked up for a season after everybody got all mad about it. Modern Family is very funny and Trueblood is the only vampire show a dude might like...I love it. Downton Abbey if you can get into that sort of thing.


And a bunch of dudes like Entourage but I don't...I think it's more of a guy's show.
