Between 10 and 14 days of final flush and I'm getting impatient

Today is the 11th day of flushing and I have three Wonder Woman (thread here) ready to be harvested.

I'm more than likely only going to manicure one per day, so I was considering starting today, doing another tomorrow and chopping the biggest one on day 13 or 14 of flushing, and I'd just like to hear some thoughts from experienced members.

I know 10 days is minimum, and a lot of people swear by a 14 day minimum, but with my lack of experience I'm not sure exactly what to expect if I chop them that little bit earlier.

I doubt you will notice much differance. I have done hydro crops in 6 days flushing 3 times a day and never noticed any nute flavor in the buds

I can for sure tell the difference. Buds that aren't flushed properly burn like charcoal. Buds that are flushed properly produce a nice soft white ash. Properly flushed buds are always smoother than non flushed.

You only have to wait a few more days. Why put all this time and effort into to short change yourself at the very end?

If you want to see the difference for yourself, chop a branch off one today. Label that with a twist tie. Dry as normal. Then start your harvest at day 14. After everything is dry, smoke the branch, look at the ash. Then smoke something from the full harvest, and compare.

LOL! Well, that sounds good, too! One thing I can see Im gonna have to improve a LOT...is patience. But you're right...after waiting THIS long, another few days to create Perfection is worth it.

Thanks to everyone for all the input!

Useless, thanks for the detailed response. That's exactly what I was looking for, I'd really like to experience it first hand for educational purposes. My first, smallest plant got chopped yesterday, I'll leave the other two for a few more days so I can compare.

I'd heard of people chopping one branch at a time, but I wasn't exactly sure what went on within the plant itself. Ah well it's no big deal, this small one wasn't a large yielder anyways. :)

The trichs look very sweet Dixie! Still very few amber. The bud formations on these small Wonder Woman are VERY odd. They haven't put on a lot of extra mass so they look like they're mostly calyx's. (Is that the plural for calyx? :lmao: ) A couple of the leaves even had a piece of bud forming on them, they look like warts. It's kinda gross, lol.
