OK so the other thread i started got all jummbled up with the room switch and what not. Well i finally got everything tuned in. Ill break the grow down for you real quick. I now have my 4 females picked out that are in there second week of flower. Two are clones from a buddy and 2 are from seeds gifted to me by a cool ass GK member( he can take credit if he wants). The two clones are a Bubbleliciouse and an Ice plant both from Nirvana. The Ice clone had a ruff start but is commin back strong. The bubbleliciouse clone was deff. a nice gift from my bud. This was the BEST clone he had and she was beautiful took an 8th of some fine herb and a few clones off my outside girl and he said fuck it lol. The two from seed were of 4 seeds, 2 Bubblegum and 2 Hash plant put into paper towel. Three took, 2 Bubblegum and 1 Hash plant, in the rock wool cubes and only one came out male which was one of the bubble gum. So this turned out perfect i have 4 different plants flowering and are doing very well. So in the pics below i have b4 and current to today. The last one i think is a pretty nice shot of a pistillate (female flower). The acuall pistals are just starting to pop through in this shot. Ill get another one in a day or so of them out all the way out. Well more picts to post...............
... So here is a couple shots of the girls.The first is of My poor Ice clone lol. She had it so ruff the first few weeks but is pullin thru like a champ!The second two pics r the Bubblegum from seed. She is big and beautiful let me tell ya. Her leaves are curlin a little but the new growth is doin ok. The last two pics are the Hashplant from seed. And last i havethe Bubbleliciouse from clone and is she gonna bee a very beautiful girl! Look at the long beautiful blond hairs shes producin in the second week! I switched to 12/12 on 7-10 so this sunday will be the true 2 week point. all of these strains are a 9 week flowering plant but we will see at that point.The next pics are of the equipment im working with. Im currently running a 400w switchabal Lumz n Bloomz balast, bulb is sitting in a "Cherry Cooler" hood. Cooling this hood down is a modified "Stanly style blower", and this thing really moves some air let me tell ya, and insulated duct work all they way around! lol I have 2 other Stanley style fans but they are made by Lesco and is the same exact thing just grey not yellow. So i use one with my can carbon filter ( all siliconed together and works really well) and another that blows air on my res. to keep the temps down. It works too without it onthe temps were like 71-74deg, with it on the temps stay below 70. My res. is a 28gal tuff plastic container with 6 holes in the lid even though im only using 4. I have my babbies hangin in 6" net potts with hydroton as the medium. For air supply i have a 35w comercial air pump running to 4 air stones, 2 are air defusers for micro bubbles and then to aquarium stone strips for the power to roll the water around. What's up boa? I'm swinging by to check out your grow and it's looking good. Your plants are looking quite bushy and healthy. I'll stick around and watch your grow. I'm growing dwc too at the moment and believe me when I tellyouthem babies are going to blow up! I use useless formula and it's been great so far. I've had no ph problems and I don't use ph up or down and I don't measure the ph. So your going to be fine. Your rooms looks really clean works well to keep bugs out. Good luck.
Yeah but keepin the ph between 5.5 and 5.7 ive heard makes all the difference. Also forgot to add that my light is on a 12/12 cycle but here is were it getts different. My buddy Mr. Hadies told me that he and another person have ran a couple grows were they switched between a MH bulb one week and HPS the other and back n forth till the 6th week were ill keep the hps bulb in till harvest. Im told this will give u rock hard crystaly buds! IDK we'll see i guess!
a "full" spectrum does give you a slight advantage and lower temps as well to making rock buds......but its all in your skills, gotta know what to give them..when and how much and and and and ........ Thats the biggest advantage of working a strain for a length of time, you learn how to manipulate it to the fullest so you can extract the most out of her It still comes down to genetics tho for a top to bottom list of "happies" I love indica couchlock and pain killing, numbing stuff......thats why my White Rhino will live FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well untill Mr.Nice lets go of some MEDICINE MAN!! or BLACK WIDOW!

But yeah i deff. understand that all Strains are different and its for sure gonna take some time to fully get this hydro down and understand it! So i think im learnin another lesson in hydro growing and ph control. This big ass res just wont hold ph, even new store bought pre-ph'ed(by me) to 5.5 and then dumped into the res. Come back n hour later and the fuckin ph is att 6.4 to 7!!! WTF!so today i got black 5gal bucket tops and tomarrow ima pick up these all black 5 gal buckets from the tile shop. hopefully this will help me with my ph problem and i can help my burning bubble gum. Which is weird its self cause all the other plants are perfectly health but her?!? So yeah thats were im at almost the 3rd week of flower and they are starting to show alot of pistals, and the one bubbleliciouse clone is ohhhh so beautiful. its nite time in the room so no pics till tomarrow, ill try! and by the way i have been :F-A-Q: and searchin the shit outta this problem and came up with this. The Ph is something to be learned and practiced kinda and by having each plant in its own res (5gal bucket) i can learn watch and even do side by side tests to get the best results.The burning is either a MG def. or are a result of the ph goin up and down and all the damn ph down ive been using isnt good either. Well like i said im learnin still and it is my first runn so we'll see how it goes. IDK thanks for watchin and ill try hard to get pics tomarrow!

ok Friday..........empty res......good......fill with fresh water....good.......ph'd at 5.9....BAD! Show me where it says after you RE-fill the res it is supposed to be ph'd at 5.9??????????????????????????????? It says ...."Every week, on Friday I drain the ressy and fill with plain water. I let that run overnight giving the plants a little flush. This also allows the chlorine and ammonia to evap" It says NOTHING about PHing the water, it says infact....it allows the chlorine and ammonia to evap And WEDNESDAY : Why are you changing the RES's or RES every 4 days??????????? COME ON MAN!
