If you use the MOAB , use it at 1 teaspoon per 5gallons. Drop the base nutes (in your case lucas) 50% when using the MOAB. So intsead of 0-8-16 you'd run 0-4-8 per gallon + 1 teaspoon MOAB per 5 gallons.
ok so i went all over the city and cant find MOAB anywhere. Is there anything else that works well with the lucas formula?
you can order online pretty cheap and it lasts forever, most have it in your hands within a 2 days. You're looking at $20-25 for use on Wednesday with plenty left over. As far as others not sure, I'm using moab now switching over from FF. I wouldn't suggest that line with lucas and it would be costly in the near term and hard to dial in.
A lot of the hydro stores around here don't carry MOAB because they said the minimum order for them is $10K. I bought a can of it a year ago and still have enough for probably over 100 gallons of water. The results are unbelievable. If you can, do one plant with and one without (if soil) and see for yourself.
I just bought a 500g container at the local hydro shop for $50 Next time I'm gonna order the kilo size. I dig the results I get and it's perfect for use with the Useless or Lucas formulas. I dunno what Useless would say, but I am running an 11 week strain at the moment and I just entered week 5, which on an 8 week strain would include the MOAB. I am however running week 4 nutrients again for the additional weeks of flower necessary and I decided to reduce the strength by 50% and add the MOAB during this period to try and increase yields as much as possible, instead of waiting until week 8 which is when I will resume the rest of the formula with week 5 nutrients. As I understand it, Useless only runs the MOAB during the week 5 feed (the actual week depends on how long ur strain flowers). For longer flowering strains he told me that I just run week 4 repeatedly to make up the extra weeks so on my 11 week strain I run week 4 nutes starting at week 4 and continue week 4 nutes with weekly resy changes of course through to week 8 to account for the extra 3 weeks of flowering. At the start of week 8 I will give week 5 nutes and finish out the rest of the schedule. I figured on an 11 week strain giving the MOAB for a couple weeks during the middle of flowering will give them the best chance to add as much weight as possible to my yields.
