I would like to know if having a candle lit up in the grow room a couple of times in a week is good for the plants while growing and flowering?? I also have a question about the final process of drying. Where I live tempertaures can get very hot easeley. I read the other day about a fast drying method that is kind of like the slow drying method but the room having tempertures from 90 - 110. The drying room doesn't have ventilation. Is this a good way of doing it? if so How many days should i leave them? Will ventilation be a problem? I appreciate much your help.
well my friend I think i can answer your drying question.. Personally...I find having a small breeze of warm air on the buds will allow QUICK and perfect drying. They say NEVER DRY FAST because you just kill some of the THC and we dont want that now do we . But ya hang the buds upside down from there steam so no juices leak out and get a fan in there for sure to prevent moisture and MUD!! lol Mud = bad friend But ya for ownage killer buds slow drying is the key. But how long you ask? well depends lol if your selling then id say dry them till they feel dry to the touch but are still sticky iky on the inside(these buds will weigh more because still have a little moisture inside ) BUt if these are personals O MAN all i have to say is ... THE DRIER THE HIGHER BABY!! Make those bitches dry as shit so they crack when you bend the bud
I would not recommend putting a candle in the grow room for fear of fire. I will never put a open flame near my plants or in another room that im not in for a matter of fact. Im a fire freak scared of it but its fun to play with if controled. I do not light a candle if im not in the room if I leave I put it out same with insense. On the subject of ventilation you want to get the humidity in the room down to prevent mold and rotting of the buds. id recommend taking a room and putting a string across hang the buds off the string and put a fan in there. Open the door to the room for a certain ammount of time a day id say for like an hour maybe 2-3 a day to get some humidity out of the room and to provide fresh air. Do this until you can take the stem on the bud and snap it without it bending at all needs to be crisp and easy to snap not bending. Goodluck and im sure more expierence growers will leave some better advice or correct my advice if Im wrong on anything. ~Peace
Candles in the grow room? A little "ambiance" for the ladies? LOL! Dude, ur gonna smoke 'em not fuck 'em! All jokeing aside... IF you were to want to burn candles in your grow room, or ANY part of your house... For whatever reason... Be careful about what candles you burn. Those cutesy little gel candles in the glass jars can overheat, break the glass & the shit is like liquid Sterno. Some wax candles use wicks that contain lead. Be careful which ones you get! Lead is toxic! It will get in the air and contaminate every surface in your grow room... all in your plants... all in the buds... not to mention every surface in your house, and the lead levels continue to rise over time... When you smoke, or even breathe... you are inhaling high concentrations of lead particles into your lungs... So is everyone else in the house! When you eat, you are digesting lead... So is everyone else in the house! Lead can cause a bunch of health issues, like birth defects, learning disorders, some types of cancer, etc..... You get the idea... Yeah, I'm a dad... Sue me! LoL!!! Peace

You get the idea... snick i have to say man.- that is really some great advice. candles are a bad idea because residue is a BIG factor considering wax. even just parrifin or EVEN lard on the end of the spectrum..... its just not a good idea. let alone what is emmited from a candle its also the danger of an open flame! good post.
