I just noticed Canna has been excommunicated. I then checked her most recent posts and didn't find anything unusual, so I'm just curious.


I would have just pm'd my favorite mod Ras and asked him, but I assume there are others out there equally as curious, so I decided to ask publically.

Oh dear....well, Ive had previous experience with two friends who had bi polar disorder and the one thing I know for sure is, they cant help it. The depression part makes them hard to be around, but the manic phase makes them pretty much intolerable. They bounce off the walls.


Seriously, they really cant help it.


Even tho she cant post, she can still read the forum, right? So please, everybody, try to be sensitive.

No, she cant read shit. She's banned, gone. Zero access.


She wanted it and she got it.


The ban will lift in 6 months and shes welcome back then if she sorts her shit out.

 

Manic depression (this is what Canna was) or bipolar, same thing....


(My sister is as well, and has not been medicated for over a decade, so her swings are very bad)


For those of you who do not know what this medical disorder is:


Rarely is a MD normal, even keel. It is a swing from one extreme to another.


-Manic is when you are on top of the world. everything is great, you feel great, you do not see any part of the bad in your life. The very real everyday problems that you have are not dealt with, because you do not see them. Issues are neglected.


-Depressive - You start to swing the other way, when realization sets in that your world is not perfect. You realize the problems you overlook, and they begin to overwhelm you. Having pushed everything aside, the problems you now see begin to compound and pile on top. You feel covered, helpless, crushed. You think that there is no way you can dig yourself out. Your own mental anguish compounds everything. Feeling helpless, you still do nothing to fix the original problems. You feel like it's the end of the world. This is the state of mind that is the "attention seeker". You reach out for support, thinking that others can help pull you out.


*The problem with many MD's is that they really want someone there with them, and they try to pull other people into their world and their sorrows. They don't want help - they want someone to join them. They don't want to be alone, but they also want the attention they get.


MD's are many times compulsive liars. They cover up what is really going on to the point they make up stories. You get to where you don't know if they are ever telling the truth, and many times they don't even know anymore either. the cycle continues, until the person can get medical treatment, or shuts everyone out of their life, or does possibly life-threatening damage to themselves.


I am not a shrink or a doctor or anything like that. I have seen this first hand for most of my life with my sister, and her behavior is fairly extreme and textbook.


I too got sick of Canna's attention-seeking, but I recognized right away what she was doing. She even admitted to being MD. She did want the attention, but as others pointed out, she was unwilling to accept advice or help, because that's not what she really wanted. She just wanted the attention.


I hope she can get the medical treatment she needs before she becomes like my sister.

I hate to stir up shit, but isnt this the smokers lounge for discussing anything? if it was in the growers section then yes its not the right place to discuss but.....

 

It's fine to discuss pretty much whatever you want here in the smoker's lounge. It's only a problem when a member floods the forum with a torrent of new threads all pertaining to and creating drama and friction on the website. It's fine to discuss non MJ related subject matter, however if every thread becomes about a topic that is creating drama or friction then it becomes a problem a we will shut it down. If the member persists in causing trouble they will be dealt with by the mods.

 

I for one was getting tied of coming on here everyday reading that drivel. The kid has serious issues and needs to straighten the hell up. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think that whole story about her being raped was made up. I only say that because you can research the police logs here, it's all on line. I researched it and found nada, bubkis, nothing!

 

If I was still a mod this thread would be closed right now. The point isnt whether or not Canna was full of shit. She was causing drama that wasnt necessary. She didnt like the response she was getting and ASKED for her account to be deleted.


This has been gone over more than once in different threads. If people are so curious its easy to find the answer.
