chop the whole plant mandatory?

    When it comes time to harvest a plant, do you have to chop the whole plant down or can u just take the individual buds off?  I do plan to cure my harvest if that has anything to do with it. Some help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

    If you would like to grow in the same place next year if its a good spot once all the cured buds have been taken off Id cut the whole bush down no point in leaveing it all winter to be stumbled on so the spot is now watched?

    I think he jsut means should he leave some of the buds to mature longer, i am sure he will clean the grow site, so everything was undetectable.
