I was just wondering does anyone thank it is imposable to clone a flowering mother. I have cloned veging plants before but never a flowering one. Any sugestions or opions is a big help.
a little research goes a long way http://www.growkind.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22665&highlight=cloning
Yea , i agree, as cloning is all good, but the way to do it , is once its sexed, and its in VEG, NOT in flowering cycle, as its hard enough to get the roots going half the time, never mind trying to get them going when its in BLOOB time!!!! (cause then its very hard to really get the roots to get going good , as its already in the bloom cycle...... But, YES, it is possible , very much, but needs more attention n care than, when in grow(VEGGING)...... Peace Out, UrBigBuddie.........:sign13: ottytrain1:
If it is late in flowering and you decide you want to keep the strain go for it. just take more than you need to account for the ones that won't make it. also take them from deep in the plant on some of the under developed brantches. I just did it because the strain ended up being amazing, and I don't want to loose it.
Miracles do happen.. good luck with cuttings(be gentle) Normally i wouldnt fuck around with my plant in flowering unless its early on but heres a true story that happened to me to maybe help you out..... One time i was transporting 3 plants from another garden in another house and when we got it back to my flowering garden an accident happened and the plant was actually SEVERED in the middle of the stalk,my top cola and all my pretty buds were now de-capitated!!!! I also noticed branches had fellen off or broke off,i immediately planted them aswell as my top cola part of the plant.....the good news is the snapped branchs are being flowered now...the bad new is that the top cola part pf my plant didnt make it( was it even possible?????),as for the plant a small shoot came out of the side of the stump that was left and wirhin weeks it was a thriving bushy plant of its own, aw shit man,i was dying that day at the sight of what was in front of me but to anser your question,if my accidental cuttings could survive that then anythings possible, the plant is actually in my garden a while after the accident(its the one that is growing at an angle cos obviously the main plant was severed). As they all said check out the FAQS,just thought id share that mad day i had transporting the plants(STONED OUT MY TREE!) GOOD LUCK.Smoke on
Almost the entire plant can be chopped off and it will reveg with light N fertilizing and 18/6 light. At death's door:Two weeks later, signs of new life growing out the top of buds:And from the main stalk: /monthly_2006_09/start.jpg.b6c8524f6dd5994c9521ec20d1e5c3b5.jpg /monthly_2006_09/from_buds.jpg.1487bf9c888ff43c7f9abb0e72a9c351.jpg /monthly_2006_09/from_stem.jpg.5bce9d1aac944dae5470dc128260f017.jpg
I tried this on my last grow, I flowerd my plants and took a few clones from one of em. Took em about 3 weeks to root but its super healthy now and growing like crazy. We will see what the quality is like when its finished. Have fun....try new things and learn. Thats my out look.
