I got 2 weird computer questions....

First of all does anyone know where I can find an OVERSIZED mouse pad?
I mean about 4 times the size of a normal one...
I need it for some C.A.D. programs as a bigger pad makes life easier......

Secondly I would love to find a program/ sensors that can keep track of and display the current temps and humidity in various locations???

    Thanks for any help guys..

Do you mean the temp and humidity inside the machine or the ambient readings outside your machine?

For mice and mouse pads i highly recomend Razer brand mice and pads as they are hands down the best on the market . There not cheap but very much IMO if you require ( and you do C.A.D) pinpoint precision with your mouse.

There are several ways to monitor temps i just need you to be a little bit more specific.

P.S. Have you ever tried solidworks?

I'll check out Razer thanks for the link...

Solid works I have never used, its mostly for mechanical which I'm not doing...

Truthfully I'm not even sure which C.A.D. I'll be using....

The contractor will deliver the computer and programs etc...

It'll be nice but boring work modifying standard plans to customer specs...

Anyways for the sensors I wanted to keep a log and be able to map a graph of the temps and humidity..

Would also be nice if it was expandable...

    Thanks for the help Stinky....

Again max im uncertain if you want to take the machines temp or the ambient outside temps.

Im gong to assume its the pc's temp you want to monitor if thats the case thre are several ways to do it mostly depending on your motherboard, most MB's will have several temp readings one at the chip set one ocer the memory bay a general internal temp and a video card temp reader.

When you get the puter pm me or post its specs here ill point you were you need to go.

if you dont need it to be a computer program you can go to radioshack and buy some sensors that send a signal back to a main display... back home we have one outside, in the greenhouse and inside the house. (records highs and lows of the day, shows humidity, etc.)

    LOL

    I've got 2 of 'em...

6 sensors right now and 2 displays...

I always hide 'em when someone comes around, would rather just use the computer...

I'll be getting 2 new ones soon so...

I plan to put my cameras and temp, humidity sensors on the computer I have now....

I'll keep looking something bound to show up sooner or later..\

Anything I've found so far is pricy, like $500 plus...

    Thanks Shisno
