Correct pH for hydro

    The instructions on the side of my nutes that came with my hydro kit say a pH of 6 - 7 is ideal, but all ive read on hear is that it needs to be 5.5 ish, why would they advise higher?

    Unsure young bud, you may be looking at the recommendation for clones/ cuttings. I keep my ebb and flow hydro around that 5.5 mark, however my DWC cloner stays closer to 7. Hope that helps you, JE
