picked up a sweet little hygrometer today after i saw one in another post, talking about curing. i'm headed downstairs to throw my stuff in canning jars, and i'm going to toss my new gadget in one of the jars. i will rotate it through my 4 jars to measure each. unfortunately, i can't remember a thing about ideal temp & RH!!! any help, folks??? peace GTWT :XXhippylove:
:thumbs-up: thanks doob! temp seems easy to control, but how about humidity? too low, do what? too high, vent longer??? GTWT :XXhippylove:
cigar store - the foo foo cigar smokers who have those controlled humidors use them to maintain their cigars fresh mine was $40, looks like this GTWT :XXhippylove:
Heres the link to the thread I started yall............... http://www.growkind.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39705
sweet, you're the guy! i think i just read that post last week thanks for the recommendation :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up: i just checked mine, 75%. i think i could've stood to dry another day - will leave them open overnight.... peace GTWT :XXhippylove:
What about keeping buds in a humidor? Would it be a good way of storing my personal buds? Or what about rolling a nice fat blunt and storing them in the humidor until I decide I want one and just whip it out? What do you guys think?
can't say that i've ever heard of it, but sounds like it would work just fine! optimal temps/humidity..... why not? little classier than the grungy ziploc stuffed in a sock drawer peace GTWT :XXhippylove:
Dixie you just have to be careful the one I bought from there I was using for a while and when compared to these Calibers I bought it was off by quite a bit. You can calibrate them I think with like a salt test or towel test or some shit I read a thread somewhere. Anyway the ones I use are called Cailber III's and are suppose to be insane accurate and are real small and can fit inside the jars. I listed the site I used in my previous thread regarding this.
