DO I NEED A PUMP?

    IF ANYONE COULD ANSWER MY QUESTION IF THERE WAS ANY OTHER WAY TO GROW HYDRO WITHOUT A WATER PUMP? IVE NEVER GROWN IT BEFORE AND WANNA TRY IT..

    ALSO CAN I USE FLOUR LIGHTS?

    rushyayo, the caps lock key is located on the left side of your keyboard between the tab and shift keys.


    i don't grow hydro, but i am pretty sure a pump is necessary.


    i'm not sure about flour lights, but you can use fluorescents ;) for vegging. if you want high quality buds you need a high pressure sodium (hps) light for flowering.

    i grow in hydro buckets, rush, and a pump for water is not needed. an airline pump is necessary, tho, to pump air into the reservoir water. the water bubbles up (aerates) the plant roots, causing it to grow. the pump sits outside the bucket ... not in the water. :bongdude:

    I've a similar sounding setup as Mary described.Works quite well.Lots of useful info in the FAQS and search.

    Or you could drip feed. Just gravity man. Wow mother natures hydro!
