my plant is tall, bushy, about 62 inches. She has 4 weeks of flowering left. I have been giving her 1 500 ml water bottle 48 hours. I now give her 2 bottles every 48 hours. Will this be enough?
Plants do need more water whilst they are flowering.Although it is hard to say whether the amounts of liquid you say you are giving them is enough because it depends on the consistancy of the soil you are growing in,also the weather determines how much you water them, if its been dry and sunny you will have to give them more water, and either less or none at all if its been raining.High wind can also mean you need to water more often because it really dries those buds out.As a general rule just stick you finger into the soil around the plant and if the dirt sticks to your finger in a moist sort of way then you should be ok.Your plants will let you know if they need more fluids because they wilt and leaves curl inwards to slow transpiration.
My plant gets watered about 3 gallons worth every 48 hrs. By the time you get to the second day the leaves really hang low, like she's begging for a drink. It's almost funny to see. I can see her with binoculars almost any time so if in the afternoon she's got her head hanging low I know what she wants. It's really that simple.
