:5eek:Holy crap.... been FOREVER since I've logged on. Been spending time doing home repairs and planning on starting a family in the next 18 months or so. So the question I've got for all the more experienced folks who may have had some layoffs in the past, is what's the best way to make sure my water reservoirs and bubble buckets are up to spec to start growing again? It's been probably over a year that they've been dormant (I hang my head in shame) but I don't want to have to throw them all away and buy new ones again. Would diluted bleach solution be enough? Too harsh? Just soap and water? I'll be using an RO system to fill a 55 gal plastic drum, while running bubble buckets with hydroton baskets. Thanks for not deleting my account guys! - PharmDoc
:-welcome-: Back! Good to see ya! 10% bleach solution should work fine to clean everything up.
Married life is, well... Married life. Gonna try and squeeze a few more grows in before any mini-me's start running around this place. I hate the idea of having to go on grow hiatus again but my wife has a point... Something happens now, it's one thing. It happens with kids, and its a CPS issue. F'n HATE when she's right lol. Thanks for the info, I know what I'll be doing with my brand new bottle of bleach tomorrow
soak your balls if you have um If you have leftover hydroton soak it in hygrozyme. As far is that bleach will pretty much kill anything if you fill the system up with bleach water. As far as flushing system just flush with plain water after the bleach soak
That's what I would do. Swish a sponge around on everything, and then shop vac it out completely before the final fill. asssit:
