Hi everyone, I'm having a problem I can't seem to diagnose based on my searches. My leaves are cupping down and it looks like I have mild nute burn in the form of rust spots on lower leaves (no pest issue). Setup: DWC Growing GDP Temp 72-75 F Humidity 40-50% Lucas method:GH Flora 7ml micro /14ml bloom with 2 gal res, (2) 105W(actual) 5000k cfl's Plants are about 4 inches from light. ppm 827 PH hangs about 6.2/6.3 every morning before I adjust it back to 5.8 I add water and Nutes as needed based on lucas calculation I have diluted the nutes in the res and ppm now reads 782. I also have the same plant growing in soil with compost and it exhibits the same curling of the leaves and some nute burn. I do not add nutes to the potted plant because it has nutrients in the compost mix. I water about 1-2 times per week, when soil feels dry a few inches down. I'm curious how they have the same problem. any advice would be appreciated
They look like you have too high of nitrogen. They may be trying to lock out. Flush the hell out of em and keep the ph in the 5.8 range. Back off the nitrogen for a while :beerchug-2: Teamster6

The female hairs were showing when I received them, but I don't know if they were flowering. I don't know if they have been re-vegged. Thanks for your input.
They are revegged. They came from outdoor flowering plants. That accounts for the single bladed leaves. t looks like pH issues too or just too much nutes.
rasganjah, Ok... I see. Revegged. That's possible as the mother was outdoors. Anyone knows what is causing the cupping leaves?
give water only for a couple weeks. They should start to grow new normal leaves. Curling could be due to the fact that they were n flower mode and you gave too much N. Give just water until you see new normal growth.

I'm relatively inexperienced, but I would guess that's the start of Calcium lockout. According to the chart below, Calcium is only available at ~5.0 - ~5.8 pH, and I'm thinking your fluctuation could be responsible. I personally use hempy buckets, so I've had no experience with a reservoir setup and I know that some people with active systems adjust their pH on the fly. Personally, for the buckets, I have to pH adjust the water 8-12 hours before I plan on using it to allow for correction of any fluctuations before it goes in. Please take what I've said with a grain of salt, as I said I'm far less experienced than many on this forum, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there and see what discussion popped up. I've also been looking at the Calcium section at http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688, but the early Ca lockout looks far different to your problem. The late picture looks like a slightly more advanced version of what you've got... I don't know. As I said, take what I've said with a grain of salt, I'm still learning too. Some feedback from the GK veterans would be awesome.
spinkler, I agree that it doesn't look like a calcium lock out. I've been keeping the ppm within range from the start. I haven't seen anything like it, however I'm flusing them to get my ppm down to about 590 and we'll see how they are doing from there. Thanks for your input. Anyone else have any experience with the cupping leaves?
