IN the past 2 days 6 of my plants that are about 2 months old all the bottom leaves have started to wither and dye nothing has changed why is this happening. Also on my lil clones the some of the tips are turning yellow is that from over watering????? And last for now why is my soil getting hard so fast???? thanks for advance im very new at this
well...... .....it would very difficult to answer any of your questions without having some knowledge of your setup. i.e., lights, schedules, soil type, nutes, etc....... lots of factors could be leading to all of those problems/concerns fill us in and we'll be happy to help.
i am using 8 gro lux florescent lights, the soil im not sure the brand of and i used miricle grow about every other watering, i also use water from my creek as the guy who helped me set all this up says it already has a lot of nutrients in it from the fish and other life in it. THey are on a 18-6 light schedule hope that helps you help me!!! also it is pretty well ventalated
You'll probibly want to ask someone familiar with miricle grow, lots of us wont touch the stuff, but since it is quite strong I would think using it every other watering might be too much. First things first, check your PH and start eliminating problems from there.
the miricle grow is very very diluted and my ph is right at 7. i was wondering if it could be to little nitrogen or just to much wate3r in general
what miracle grow formula are you using? are you in veg mode or flowering? i use MG bloom booster during flowering and have had great results. i do a full strength feed about every other week, and a diluted (about 1/4 strength) one a week in between. plain water every other day. if you feed too much, you won't notice until 3-4 days afterwards. normally the tips will yellow/brown and the leaves will curl a bit. if you see that happening, flush with plain water. i like to flush it good, so i use water about 4-6 times the volume of the soil. too much can't hurt. once you flush thoroughly, let it sit about 3-4 days before adding a very diluted fert (1/4 strength or so). btw, a 7 pH is a tad high but nothing serious. 6.5 or so would be better.
im not sure the kind of miricle grow i got it witht he setup and it was in a ziplock bag he told me how he mixed it and said thats what it was... what do you guys recomend to use?
sounds to me like your pH is too high for one thing..in soil you should be down around 6.5-6.8..that's really the optimal pH for soil...7.0 can be too high even though it's neutral it can cause lockout.. you need to invest in some good nutrients like fox farms, metanaturals, advanced, bio-bizz, or the flora series for soil.. there are many good nutrients out there, but most you might have to order offline since most stores like lowe's and home depot don't have them... go online for good nutrients man, it's one of the best investments you'll ever make

http://www.advancedgardensupplies.com/index.php?p=2 if your soil is getting hard theres clay in it and it doesnt have enough soiless medium including perlite.....u need to transplant in good soil like black gold, mushroom compost adment w worm castings dolomite lime and blood n bone meal. look on the site for soil recipies...theres tons round. u need to ditch the micrle grow PERIOD. check that site and get good nutes and soil.....but a good light other than flos like a good hid @ inside sun dot com and get to growing!
