Looks Great

 

Here is the family after the first week of 12/12. Got a 400W HPS to replace the fluorescents. They grew about 3 inches in the first 3 days with the new light, had to retie them every day. I have two girls for sure, one that I'm 98% sure is a girl, and two late bloomers. I'm kinda hoping that one is male so I can cut down to 3 or 4 plants. I don't think the light can support any more than that at the size they are now. I stopped with the fish poop and started them on a 10-52-10 fert. Everything's goin well thanks to your help GK!

No ****! Those are some BIG girls ER. Might be a bit much for a single 400W lamp. The good thing...you got a green thumb buddy.

Very impressive grow so far....im intrested in seeing the final product!

 

How many plants are under the 400? dont worry i flower out way more than my 150 can handle and always do well.

 

Herb -- I was following everyone's advice by waiting til they made alternating nodes before I started 12/12, but they were overflowing their pots by six weeks (without alternating) so I said damn, they're gonna outgrow their pots if I wait any longer. I just went with my gut.


What I didn't realize was how big the plants WOULD'VE been had I not JOGged them. I thought, hey they're laying on their side they're not that big, but if they would've grown straight up, they would've been almost two feet tall when I started 12/12! I guess that's a good thing that they grew so well but bigger means more light, more nutes, more vents, etc. Ah, the burdens of being a parent!


There are 4 plants under the 400W now, three girls and one undetermined. I'm hoping that the late bloomer is a male just so there's less competition, but hey, I always have room for one more girl. (Remember, I still have the six flourescent lights to add if necessary).

Put foamboard around to reflect the light. Very cheap, very light and does the job nicely. By the way, that bud that's sticking out is fucking crazy. don't go near it cause it's got a gun

No worries man. That view gave me a whole new perspective on your setup. I thought the first pic taken from above was one plant. 4 plants is not bad at all and you did a fine job of filling the canopy. Nice work my friend.
