My plants are flowering. Not big plants. 15" to about 20". this is my first year, and i started late. But, they look healthy. I use Pro grow 3-2-4, and mix 1 tbl per gallon. I was told to feed them once a month? Otherwise, just use water. is this correct? they are in 3 gal pots. Thanks, Dennis
Feed (diluted) them once/week and water every week. Do not keep the soil moist/saturated. Let soil dry out a little between watering. You don't want to keep the roots busy 24/7. The plant has to use some of its energy to grow its leaves.
How long since they first started flowering? How many weeks? What is the strain? How many weeks do you expect them to take to finish? Pro Grow is for vegetative growth that takes place before they start to flower. You should get some Pro Bloom or other bloom booster. You need to increase the Phosphorus during flowering as well as the Potassium and lower the Nitrogen. The 3 gal. pots should be sufficient. How long have they been in those pots and that soil? In soil I usually feed maybe every 3'rd or 4'th watering depending on how quickly they are drying out and how often they need to be watered. The strength of you mix should coincide to what the instructions on the bottle say more or less. Just follow the directions. I use Flora Nova nutrients and during mid flower I am giving them the 3/4 strength nutes. I never have to go to full strength, it seems to be a little too much for most plants at full strength. I would start at 1/2 strength and see how it goes gradually increasing until you reach 2 weeks before you harvest and flush them well and give only plain water for the last 2 weeks.
:eusa_angel:Thanks. They have been flowering for about 2-3 weeks. Not sure. My gardener told me they were flowering. I'm a novice. sorry. there are several strains, but they should all flower for a period of 7-9 weeks...I think. Where do i get the Flora Nova, or can i use something that is obtainable from a garden store? thanks, Dennis
