depends on the strain , but for the most part you should start to see a bunch of hairs within 2 weeks and buds after 4 weeks.
got 12 plants on 12/12 i have 3 females right now after 1 week, should i give another week then pull the plants with no hairs, what week will the males start pollenation
NO . there is no set time every strain is diffrent. You need to learn the diffrence between male and female flowers and how they pollinate. DO SOME RESEARCH
my ladies have been flowering/blooming now and it took a good 4 weeks before i saw the buds, dont know about the male situation but use a jewellers loupe and keep your eyes peeled for those damn bunches of grapes, i thought i had a female or at worst a hermi growing as it didnt show the usual MALE characteristics but after quarenteening it but still flowering it ,it started to produce buds all over but when i looked closely with the loupe i could see the little group of grapes sitting in hiding like a bunch of grenades on a hezbollah's back pack......needless to say its GONE. Im actually having a bit of fun this time with my flowering cos i have just grew plant normally and the other i have used (L.S.T. low stress training) extensively on one of the plants to the extent that EVERY branch is seperated and pointing up wards and they are all the same height so as from a distance you cant distinguish from a normal bud and the top cola cos they all as dense and full of buds cos over time i have made the stems twist so that they ALL point upwards and unlike previous grows of mine the lower bud sites are actually just as dense and bushy/crystally as the ones that would have been at the top. Its the 1st time i have tried LST to this extent and i will need to add a few thumbnails maybe even a mini garden over the next day or two to show you visually what im talking about...... Put it this way,the yield/harvest im gonna get from the LST trained and YOUNGER plant is gonna be nearly twice as much as the non LST plant whic h is saying summit cos the non LST plant has tons of buds hiding under those fan leaves, its even started sprouting new shoots from the bottom of the stalk. By the way,the stems that i have LST'd and twisted and turned/held in different positions by sticks, etc have grown into stalk and stems DOUBLE as thick as on any of my other plants,i realise this is no big deal to those of you who have been using this method for years but ive got well excited by the difference in the plants and how much many more buds/colas the LST plant has, even though the other plant in the same garden has a healthy yield coming soon.Pecae Smoke on
