Thanks for all your help so far guy's my girl is looking pretty good so far im in the 3rd week buds are looking good just started nutes yesterday 10-54-10 bloom plus. the thing is like i said im in my 3rd week but i still haven't seen any trichs . this seed came from some really good strain not sure what type tho but very strong nugs. . Im just wondering if it takes awhile for them to show, Am i doing anything wrong ? i am posting some pics here to show you my grow so far thse pics are from 8-19-08 soil grow 3rd week of flowering but no trichs wtf ? none at the top bud or the bottom just none anywhere, look at my pics . i don't know you tell me ? maybe i have to wait ? idk? thanks let me know what you think,,, thanks
Thats looking pretty damn good, this is my plant at 3 weeks 3 days of flower. You can see my buds are just starting to form, no where near as big as yours. as far as no trichs, I can't help you their being that this is my first grow. Is that a Sativa plant you got their? I know you don't know the strain but maby someone can chime in on that one.
Yea i had preflowers before i switched the light cycle to 12/12 they were almost as big as yours even before i startred flowering them well maybe a bit smaller but yea i don't know what the hell is going on with the triches maybe i just have to wait hope someone can help me with that one
That is an awful lot of bud for 3 weeks....She has been flowering longer than that. Is it an auto flower maybe? On an indoor grow it takes 10-14 days minimum to start to show any flowers. Some strains take longer. If it started flowering before you switched to 12/12 then id say it is most likely an auto flower strain. As far as preflowers go, those are just little thingies that form at the internodes. What you were refering to as pre were really flowers. Good luck and dont worry the trichs will come. Give it about a week or 10 days and let us know then. You should have plenty by then.
The trichs will show just give it some time. Some strains show right away and others show much later. I never seen or heard of a plant not showing trichs at all. So take breath and wait they will come.
Well to be honest i think your right because that is the 3rd week into flowering 12/12 honestly so yea i think it is a auto flowering plant ,,,i never heard of that but yea i think thats it can't wait till the 8 th or 9th week Ahhhhhhhh yes btw im just starting nutes 10 -54-10 i think that will blow it up to masssive BUD SIZE !!!! hoping !!!!!

Aye choker is right...is your plant a sativa or indica or more sativa dom than indica I only ask cos some sativas or sativa dom plants can take a LOT longer to show their signs than your regular afghani type indica ,etc.Give it time and some TLC and you'll be right... look forward to reading your grow/smoke report when completed. I just done growing a batch of ULTRA SKUNK which im toking right now...cant beat yer own homegrown i always say,happy growing and do you have a laser scope with a 100x magnified cos thats thee only or one of thee best ways to tell when the fruit is ripe so to speak,pick them up at radio shack or maplin for a few bucks,well worth the cash and far better than just a jewellers loupe in my experience.Peaceotleaf:
Yup get some sort of micro scope to check the trichs when they form. That plants been flowering more than 3 weeks so if you let it run 8 or 9 weeks from the day you switched to 12/12 you may run the risk of flowering it too long. I think its gone 5 weeks all ready.
looks like you got indica dominant chronic characteristics. You should have some trichs forming at 3 weeks on any plant I have ever grown. Not real rich trichs but you should have some forming. But that plant looks kinda ratty, so that could be the problem. You need to work on getting her healthier. Don't waste your time with a microscope or whatever, you will know when she is ready here in about 5-6 weeks. The pistols will be at least 50% browned, but most importantly the trichs will turn clear to milky. When the plant has that milky look all over and seems to have quit putting on weight, chop her down. In the beginning I bought the microscope thing, haven't used it since the first crop I grew. I realized I can tell just as easily from just looking at the plants.
