this is my second time around flowering this plant first time is was nice white buds,,, it's almost been 4 weeks and it is starting to flower but not really showing the buds that it had the first time around ,,,,i got another plant with it first time flowering, and this one is growin at a massive rate showing nice white haired flowers i started this one two weeks earlier but i don't notice any tri-chiomes yet is that normal? i do have a mag but can see only crystils on the white hairs . I don't know maybe i just got to wait for another two weeks to see how it looks..... by then (the second time around plant) i will hopfully see the big buds it had the first time around. plus my dark cycle was interupted for 5 min ,,not with massive light but enough, will that ruin my plant now ? or will it take a week or so more to recover [IMG]? another? do all plants show tri-chiomes ? some more than others ? i have a sativa do these plants show alot of tri-chiomes? thanks to all who give me insight

are they on the floor? if the root zone gets too cold, theyll slow or even stop growin.

Did you "reveg" the plant after you harvested it the first time or just leaave it under 12-12? The plant has to be put back in to the veg cycle. Preferably 24-0 light schedule, I believe. I would have to believe that you are going to get a MUCH smaller yield from a plant that has been through such an ordeal. No real life experience just speaking from research.

The reason few growers attempt to get a second harvest off a plant is because the yield is usually only 1/2 of the original.

And sometimes the plant doesn't survive.

To get a 2nd harvest, first you have to cut off all but about 12" or so, then put the plant under at least 18/6 lighting to stop the plant from dying and start it to re-vegetate. This takes 2--4 weeks. Then you have to vegetate it for about 6 weeks before setting the lights to 12/12 again.

In that 2--2.5 months you could plant new seeds and veg them and ultimately end up with a full harvest.

    Clones make even more sense.

re-veg sucks! only good if you liked the plant and want to make beans, or clones.

Veg the plants on for 24hours for 2 weeks then switch to 12/12 of light. And feed them plenty of high peruvian guano along with Liquid Karma.

Cant claim this from experience, but have heard that revegging and flowering a plant for a second time is a waste of time, energy and nutes unless you have absolutely no other choice. Again this is just what Ive heard never actually tried it.

You know what he could just give the plants 36hours of interrupted darkness, then begin 12/12.And when your plants sre in full flower when you could see the thc very swollen and your plants soil dries not all the way, give them interrupted darkness for 36 more hours that way the plant know its finished and gives out the remaining of THC.Learned it from experience.
