I went back out to my spots today and found 4 males, but also discovered 4 more females. 3 of the females are well over 6 ft, ones a little over 5 and the rest are only 2 or 3 ft. One of the males had a shitload of pollen sacs, some of them had already burst and it was pretty much in full flower. the other giant females next to it aren't flowering, but in my other spot, one of the biggest papayas is starting to bud already. I'm thinkin it could be done by the end of september, but it feels wierd for it to be budding already, I've never had a plant start flowering this early before. I started 'em in the very beginning of May and it really seems to have paid off. Ever since I started feeding em FF grow big they've taken off. Has anybody out there had there plants budding at this time of the year in Jersey before? Mermaid I know you have some experience.
Mind if i put my 2 cents in? lol its gonna be at least preflowering at this point and by 2nd week in august full flower. watch for stretching betweeen now and that time. For me in canada i can say this is my past exp for 2 seasons now. also strain dependant but for the most part end of sept varieties will behave in this manner.
