ihave been having some problems with my plants and have decided to flush the system my pump is on 24/7 so how long should i flush they are in rockwool slabs and i am treating for nutrient burn or mg deficiency beacause both pictures in the plant abuse chart look similar to my problem [the leaves have brown spots and are realy dry &crisp
When I flush, I use distilled H2O, and I add : - 2-3mL/gal H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) - pH up or down for the mag defficiency I add 1/4 - 1 tsp/gal epsom salt peace in "Bi-Curious George Jefferson Starship Enterprize"
hi, you should flush your stystems resivoir once a week for at least a 24 hour elapsed time period. doing a complete water change. when doing final flush i would recomend no less than one week, changing entire ressy everyday. i would say if you think you have burned them from not flushing, do a flush then give them like a 50-75% feeding folowing the flush.
