It said you can make it flower anytime in outdoor growing... If the plants are in containers, you can simply move them into a darkened area each evening. Plants growing in the ground can be covered with an opaque tarpaulin, black sheet plastic, or double or triple-layers black plastic trash bags. Take advantage of any natural shading because direct sunlight is difficult to screen completely.

    Is that truE???

weeda''"True",...but difficult. First, a minimum of 12 hrs total darkness is required every day, and it needs to be consistant. That means everyday, for two full months, at the same time, you have to be there to cover them. Then after darkness sets in, they would need uncovered (they need respiration). Black plastic is also notorious for absorbing heat. I'm thinking, a couple hours of direct sunlight would push temps well above MJ's 'comfort' range.

I have done forced flowering for two growing seasons with results, but unfortunately had to early harvest a good deal because of security reasons. Forcing them into flowering actually gave me more weed, though, because if I hadn't I would have cut them earlier in the flowering stage and had nothing. What I did was used big black plastic bags. Heat wasn't a problem, since I usually just moved them to the shade anyway. Let me say that it is a pain to cover them and move them every day, not to mention suspicious. But I did it... just don't miss a day... I did, but nothing happened. I also didn't do it at exactly the same time everyday... still worked out. I've seen a setup where the guy had a little shed that slided over the plants, like on rails or something... that is genius if you don't have to worry about neighbors or anything.
