CREATIVE GARDENER Cured Fat Sticky Bud

I cut a few buds off a table yesterday and noticed some fox tails much bigger than I've seen in the past. What causes this? Something good or bad?

    On a main cola.

    And lower buds as well.

Not really too worried, it just looks kind of funny, and would definitely hand trim instead of the bud trimmer.

Heat. High N. Flowering too long. There's others I'm sure. Those are just the ways I've fucked it up.

I grew out 5 white rhino seeds, and 4 of 5 did this. I think it was more phenos than something I did.

GiT, some strains do that on their own but CG has grown the same 2 strains for awhile I believe. I would go with heat. Res could be right with High N, I have no idea on that. :dontknow: Did you run it it's normal time so as to rule out over flower? I know when I go an extra week or 2 my buds just usually get a little tighter and fatter. I have had foxtails appear where they didn't before and was heat related. My buds weren't as fat as normal and it seemed the foxtail took away from the usual bud size.

Has been pretty hot here. I run the lights at night, so the lights off temps could have gotten a little high since it's in the heat of the day. I have a photo cell on the thermostat so I'll check the lights off setting.

I run CO2 and did get a controller some time back to keep the levels optimal (don't tell RR he was right) so I don't worry too much about the temps in the 80 with the lights on.

They did get a pretty good shock about half way into flower. I came in one night and found them all wilted and shit. The fucking pump in that res is an auto off, cuts off when it pulls any air, and both the big air stones had gotten right up next to it. So when it kicked on it kicked right back off.

They popped back in a day or two. The buds swelled up big and fast but the vegetation never did fully recover. So that may have thrown their timing off.

I've had some tails when I left plants in flower a week longer than normal because I was lazy. But never quite like this.

They look a little odd to me but they'll make somebody happy!! Thanks guys!!
