Fresh BHO for Dabbing!

Just finished making some BHO ended up with 7 grams stuff looks fantastic. I used a silicone matte during the extraction. This is not me in the video, This is the method I used and the matt makes is so much easer

That looks delicious... What strain?

 

It's a mix of 3/4 lemon berry trim and 1/4 Jila trim from the spin pro.


I'm dabbing some on my walk with my dog. I'll be right back for a report.

Guys that non stick Matt is the bomb! There is zero loss of bho.


Every bit comes off the Matt. I made a lot more than expected.


I had to press it into the container. Looks like a 7 gram oversized

That's awesome MrG. I've wanted a silicone mat since I started doing BHO. Ive been using parchment.

 

I used a mat last week and I really liked it, so much easier to work with and get your product scraped up.


7 grams, how much trimmings did u use?

 

Now there's a market for a pirex shaped matt insert. A great Idea if they were out there. :redbong:

 

After a couple of uses it takes the shape of the vessel you use

 

Nice. Do you winterize your's or no?

 

There has been some talk about blasting directly onto the silicone mats. Something about the silicone releasing something into the BHO as a result of the butane. I'll try to find the info and provide a link.I used one every time until my last batch. Sure was easier with the mat. No scrapping. Just "pat" it together and it all comes together.Here's my last batch. I dropped it and it broke. LOL

Just curious, what is 7 grms of what I made is really worth? It's the best Ive ever made that's for sure.


skunky, I'm not sure what you mean by winterize. I just use a 14 inche tube packed with about 3/4 of an ounce of trim and ran 4 cans of Butane through it and then waited for it to boil off.

 

Winterizing is dissolving the BHO into 190 proof alcohol, such as everclear, then freezing for 48 then s. Then strain through coffee filters and ppurge off the alcohol. his removes any remain plant lipids. Making a cleaner smoother smoke.


A gram of BHO sells for $60 locally. So your 7 grams could fetch upwards of $400+

 

I'd say its worth it.

I stand corrected Resin. I went back and checked and used about one full ounce of trim. I used some compressed air to push out the remaining Butane after I used the last can up. I'm real happy with the results.


Remember Res, all my trim is from bud. There are no fan leaves mixed in it, maybe that has something to do with it.
